Well, that was cool. I got three badges at once: Noob, Invincible, and Max Radiation. The best part was, all I had to do was watch the final boss call in the ion cannon! It was a neat animation, too. Oh, of course I didn't survive, since the tank still had its machine guns. Oh well, guess I'll have to just luck out against the Hydra again and hope I get that 5% chance of blinding it with Flare and Heaven's Gate's Unleash combined!
Great game, but... Is it just me, or does the green paint magnet in Down not operate as intended? (i.e. it doesn't) Am I missing something? Do I have to do some sort of special dance to get it to work? I would've earned all the achievements for that level had it worked as I believed it would, but as it stands, I can't even clear it.
To fire different kinds of missiles, press the Ctrl key (or, apparently, the Apple key on a Mac). Also, go into Options and turn OFF missile auto-select. It's horrible and stupid.
@brainchild1991: It's random. Completely random. You could never get it, you could get it at the start of the game, you could get it at any time during game play. It's random and it's pointless. I think the dev just ran out of ideas.
Good game. It wasn't terribly difficult to get all the badges. I only had to go back and redo one level to get my deaths in it down to 0 for the Swaintastic badge.
If you want to replay this game, you have to delete two .sol files -- one from chat.kongregate.com, the other from www.raitendo.com. If you can't be bothered to find them, then you'll either have to settle with clearing your cache from both sites (it's like being born again!), or staying dead.
@911Goofy: Actually, this game is very possible to win. Hell, I managed to get up to Sir Giant Pink Lizard. And, yes, he DOES manage to fit into the police car.
...Wow. A lot of effort went into this, I can tell. I wonder if deleting the .sol file would be too much, though? I mean, I really feel like playing God.
Wonderful game with an amusing joke. I expected no less from Raitendo, although like with Free Will, I wish there was a "I get the point, can I play again without having to refresh the page?" option.
Very fun, but very short. The units seem too homogenous, though. I recognize how earth elementals and griffins are different from the other units (i.e. elems are armored melee; griffins fly, don't stop to attack other units, and gun straight toward the castle), but more varied units and upgrades would be appreciated -- for instance, a ranged slower to deal with the armored melee more ably, or AoE to counter grunt spamming. There's probably more that can be done with the game than add more unit options, but I can't think of anything off hand. Overall, good game with a great idea, but feels like it has wasted potential written all over it.
It's a fun game, albeit quite easy -- I unlocked everything on the first play through -- and not interesting enough to play through more than a couple of times. Still, it IS worth playing through that couple of times.
My only gripe with this game is that it can be tricky to push the blocks around where you want them to be at times. Other than that, this game has a great concept behind it and a manageable difficulty curve.
