It would be a lot easier if instead of alternating between pulling the arrow back 1" and 1' if he pulled it back 2' like normal people.

Champion is an example of a game with an interesting concept but poor execution. There is a lack of plot, an abundant amount of technical issues, some questionable design choices, and unrewarding game-play. At the seventh round, I died due to the enemy overwhelming my screen as no allies came to help. This isn't very fun - especially when the game is designed around war. To my surprise, when I started another game, you're forced to start all the way back from the beginning (upgrades as well). Needless to say, I wasn't overly impressed. I left the game feeling unsatisfied and partially disappointed. I've given the game a two out of five.

If we shoot an arrow into an enemy, but then one of our soldiers gets the kill, we should get a little bit of money...

The concept is good, but the game is missing a lot of features that could really make it amazing. Given what it is, it's surprisingly entertaining though, good job! My suggestions (A lot have probably been suggested by other people)
- Different Backgrounds
- More Upgrades
- Variation in units
- A new money system (With the current one you can make infinite money on a level by just letting your units get killed and making more enemies spawn)
- A story
- Base that's attacked rather than one enemy getting across and you losing
-Health bars for enemies so you can tell how much you've hurt them
-Consistent spawns of your own units
I think for what it is, this game is actually really good! I like the way that you don't have to be at the same depth as your enemy, it avoids annoying slip ups and makes sense because you're shooting arrows. I'd really recommend working on this game more, it has a ton of potential, other games tend to not have as much potential :P

I made it to level 38. I timed how long it took for a rienforcement to come. 8:46 minutes. Seriously. My finger might need surgery right now. Still, 5/5

*Aims up* Arrow descends onto head of stickman (Face lights up) Hits right behind his head and sticks in his back (smashes keyboard.)

I killed 2500 gold word of enemies before one of my guys came out... Awesome game but seriously, at a certain point I just want to finish the level :P

Anyone notice how we kill 50 men for every one that we lose, yet we send out less men, and they still have thousands more.

Easy way to get upgrades: Just work the system. Shoot enough enemy sticks to not lose, but leave enough so your allies cannot win. Keep doing this, and you rack up enough coins to buy good upgrades.

Champion has taken a fresh approach to the stick-war genre; however, it is too generic to be anything good. With one environment, a lack of upgrades, a lack of a storyline, it's hard to be anything entertaining. The ally spawn is broken around Wave 10, just to let the developer know. Overall, a game with potential; but fails to live onto any surface. Nice try, 2DArray; I've given your game a two out of five.

What a pile of junk. It's a shining example of what a vanilla game looks like. What am I supposed to enjoy here; the lack of upgrades, the boring environment, or the repetitive soundtrack? The story is pretty-much non-existent. You can do much better, 2DArray. *

"we've got infinite men and equipment. Here's our strategy: we're going to send only 1 bowman and lot of meelee. When enemy is going to reach our camp is when we are going to stop sending men and leave the archer alone" (The general before battle)

The problem with the speed up army upgrade is that you can win rounds too fast, not getting money for future rounds when you need proper upgrades!

I liked this game. However, it is quite slow; and there is very little you can do with your army; in terms of customization, armor, and weapons. Also, please include more upgrades. If you plan to make a sequel anytime in the near future, please increase the replay-ability. You've created something that could be potentially be a fantastic online flash game.

think about it logically guys, dont get the no damage upgrade because it makes it worse, if you take damage then when the enemies reach you they stop to attack you which guys you soldiers a chance to get out and save you, and you can shoot them back whereas if you do get the upgrade, the enemies go right past you giving you less time to shoot them and also since your so near the back you have like a quarter of a second to get soldiers out.

lots of stuff to critisize but considering this game came from a gazillion centuries ago i'll cut it some slack and call it a good game. needs a save button, a steady spawn rate for both sides and more affordable upgrades. money when teammate kills a unit helps too
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
uhhhh just a question for the developer why does it start foucusing on one teams spawn rate while completly stoping the other teams spawning??
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The thing I like the most about this game is the simplicity. The only thing that I would put in here would be a "save" button. Keep it going ;)
