This game is like "The most dangerous game", only for fishing instead of hunting. I'd call it "Deadliest catch", but they made a TV show out of it xP

I seem to remember seeing "unlimited oxygen" after I beat the game, but I don't have unlimited oxygen in freeplay mode... hmm

Love the game, but might have to get in to dive fishing if this guy (in the space of 15 days) can be earning $15,000+ a day!!

@ flavien10: Je ne sais pas, exactement, mais le mot se ressemble un peu a "MacGuffin," n'est-ce pas? http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacGuffin

I like the slow relzxed pace for a change. Haven't yet figured out the best way to keep the fish intact, but enjoying it lots. Nice game.

As I dive deeper my anxiety starts to rise and I anticipate what may lie in wait for me, in spite of knowing the worse that can be down there is more lines

Seems like a lot of people didn't understood, or at least this is how I figure it out... but there are no such thing about 'dream or reality' in this game. Everything here is a dream, or a nightmare. If you die, it's a nightmare. Once you get to the boat, your options are to buy upgrades, or to go to sleep. Once you go to sleep, a 'new day' begins. It's just a begining of a new dream, or nightmare, depending if you either die or not.

The harpoon goes farther and hits everything in its path. Take 2 huge fish down with one shot without having to get close enough for them to attack you.

So I have to assume that was a glitch. I ran into a huge fish early on (before getting 3rd license) that tried to attack me, I killed it, and got like 3 billion dollars. From that point all I had to do was hunt guffins.

A nice trick to earn good cash is to aim, while close to surface, for the fish with "gems", try to get a x2 and then go a little deeper and get the big fish! Also, look for the fish with green gems, because they will make your load more valuable. For the guffins, if you are looking for them and you are running low on O2, don't stop! The guffin will replenish your oxygen bar when you get it. Another pice of advice related to guffins, if you have plenty of oxygen when you find it, catch some fish around it; when your 02 leves run low, grab the guffin. Extra time! Hope you find this useful :)

Day 5: Found Radar Day 10: Never found depth meter Day 15: Grew tired of waiting for fish to die Day 20: Grew worried of music change Day 25: Fell asleep looking for depth meter Day 30: Found bigger fish I should have bothered to kill for cash sooner

Well that was pretty sinister.. Did anyone else kept expecting to have another nightmare at the beginning of every day? I like that you only get a vague idea about your depth, weapon effectiveness , etc. It made it more atmospheric, and you have to use your intuition a bit.

Spoiler: In Freeplay Mode, press 3 for the "Captain's Edge", which consumes minimal oxygen and turns the mouse into a blade.

Melee: short range, I think it uses less oxygen. Harpoon: long range and more O2 consumption. With the power upgrades, they would slice through every fish. Harpoon is good if you line up the fish. You also get the most $ for cutting the tips off fish and wait until they bleed. Always dive deeper since bigger fish=more $.

*spoiler warning!, although it isn't that revealing XD*
lol, that was mean man, you got me used to battle easy-peasy fishes and suddenly you made me fight a boss tottally different!

**Spoiler Alert**
Hunter becomes the hunted. Now who could have thought of that? Oh, wait a minute. To name a few, there's "The Most Dangerous Game,""The Hunger Games,""Jumanji," and, more or less, "Resident Evil 3." The ending was essentially unsurprising due to bored-hunter-looking-for-harder-challenge-and-therefore-resorting-to-homicide being a common theme in literature, movies, and games. All in all, ending was way too obvious.

it's funny how long it takes the "fish" to die. you shoot off it's head and you have to wait a minute before it dies and you can collect it.
