Press Spacebar when your machine is flashing (Guffins nearby) to get a direction arrow. WARNING: it costs some oxygen

I have dived too deep! In the uttermost depths, as my life ebbed away...There are THINGS there that cannot be unseen! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
The fools called it a bad dream. But I...I know better.

Nice interesting game, I dive from time to time so this game has an essence I can relate to. Soothing music & that depth system feels real along with many other aspects of such a simple game. Great nonetheless.

Just beat it. That was....I don't even know what to say. It was different in a good way. What really struck me most was...despite the fact they were just line segments, the "fish" freaked me out. Especially the huge ones. As I went deeper, and they got so much bigger, I literally had chills...just from line segments. Never had such a reaction to something so incredibly simple.

You get on the boat by jumping out of the water with speed. If it wasn't working for you maybe you should refresh, worked fine for me every time. Great game, great atmoshpere, a little repetitive, maybe increase the overall money intake a tiny bit, I got the last guffin long before I had the requirements to finish. Great game though 5/5.

come on...i have to play through the game again to get the badge? weak...it can't just see day 701 and know i've finished with all upgrades? weak...

Bollocks man. I just played through this game again (the novelty wore off after the first playthrough) for the achievement and it didn't unlock. wtf.

Although the alternative of focusing too much on gameplay to create a enjoyable story is bad, this game is boring to me because instead of balancing, it sacrifices fun gameplay to focus on story. I have a feeling I'm going to negative points or whatever because you flash game purists will say "you just don't get it! You gotta play the whole game!" but I'm a casual gamer and this is not very fun.

MMkay...I don't understand. How do you get on and off the boat. It seems like it just randomly does it for you after spending 15 minutes or so trying to get it to happen. Also it's a serious pain to track location of your boat while underwater. Spend a half hour swimming around then have to go hunting for your boat, then spend another 15 minutes repeatedly jumping out of the water at your ship's location until it lets you board. Uh...yeah. Oh, now that I finally got to the shop I see there's an upgrade to compass. W/E not bothering to play a second day. Too much of a deliberate annoyance factor here.

Reminds me quite a bit of MotherLoad. It was a bit simplistic but worth the time I put into it. Nice style and atmosphere. If it were a bit more fleshed out and involved, I could see it becoming a truly great game or series.

Boring and aimless. The forced plot is even driven by "guffins." The term makes me think of MacGuffins used in movies. The only problem with that is that a MacGuffin is an object for which characters are motivated to get at almost any cost, whereas these guffins I couldn't care less about.

God damnit, I hate when games either don't include or hide the mute button. I don't need your music! Let me listen to my own!

I continued my old save when I completed the game with it and it said it was the first day but I had all my upgrades and it was day 706 sadly, I didnt get badges and whe I get to the last guffin it never shows the message showtime and you run into it a bunch of times as the little area there goes on and on and on and on

Never did I think a fishing game could be so intense, nor incorporate my fear of being around giant creatures in deep waters so well.
Props to you, sir, for scaring me with a bunch of lines.

At the end the captain kills your character, basically because you were hunting, and he wanted to give you the same treatment you gave the hunted animals.

i don't want the badge.... somehow those abstract fish in the dark scare me to death... the flashlight makes it worse... SCARY FISH, GREAT GAME
