Still having some loading issues. was able to play twice on 4/30 after having loading problems the day before. can't load the game again today 5/3. just hangs on the cigarette screen

at first i thought that this game was about hair gel but it has a deeper meaning than that, it's got a very good story, good graphics, good gameplay, so i'll rate 5/5

In the caves, Jack says: "Sometimes you do things you wouldn't normally like or forget about stuff entirely. In the worst cases, both at once." This explains how he killed Kathryn and forgot about the whole day. However, in TCOM, he said he was so sad that he "didn't leave the house for days." I don't know if this is messed up, or 2DArray placed a cospiracy on purpose. Anyway, this is kind of a sad, creepy story about why we shouldn't do drugs. And a great game from 2D, as always. 5/5.

Oh..... When you block the laser on 3-4 by toggling the switch in narrow place, disable it then the bridge will be activated forever.

Ok I made it to the swamp. What a great game! If you guys can't stand reading, how about playing Tetris?
Anybody with a tip for the first swamp lvl? How do I get up there?

I am dumbfounded by the fact that this has a lower rating than "I Saw Her Standing There". The storytelling, music choice, puzzle challenge, puzzle innovation, and artwork are far superior in this game. It seems the main complaints for this are: some puzzles are too tough and there is too much dialogue. I'd say don't listen to this bullsht advice. There might be some wordiness, but I'm hesitant to even say that because it might affect the voice you brilliantly create for the characters only using text (the stutter, fuking genius, notable mention of the omission of "..." later to show more confidence). The puzzles should be hard in a platformer; I don't understand how you can feel accomplished performing tedious tasks as so many other praised platformer games require you to do. Rant aside keep up the good work 2darray, you really are a boss and I'd personally rank all of your past 7 games in the top 10 games on kong. Keep pushing yourself and keep being creative.

When Jack talks about the short stubby refrigerator he is alluding to the green "boxes" or doors in Company of Myself. It's green because it's "Eco-friendly too." This is the box that Kathyrn is buried in (as revealed in CoM). There are so many subtle connections. Great game - not because of the puzzles (which are fun and challenging) but because of the message. This games actually has something to say and it says it. Much appreciation

Is there a trick to 2-6, particularly with blowing the smoke ring up top? I got through it eventually but it felt harder than necessary with that stupid pipe sitting there.

I don't think she dies. It can be interpreted that way, but I think that when he says she was "lost forever" to him, it's because he forgot about everything they did together because he was medicated during the time that they knew each other.

Loki, this is a PREquel, not a SEquel. That means that she hasn't died - At least, not yet. Then, in between periods, she probably died.

A good prequel to Company of Myself. Filled in some of the question marks while presenting a few others. The blending of metaphor and reality nicely mimics CoM.
Still, I did come away wishing that the significance of the green box would have been touched upon and expanded a bit.

Awesome game swell job developer!! This game is a very good role model for kids. About how she turned her life around! 5/5 I think this game was helpful to some that don't understand effects of drugs.

Oh my gosh! At first I see the game and think "looks kind of cool, I guess". Then I say that it said a prologue to the company of myself and I was just thinking "AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

it seems still many people can't get through 2-6 so there is a process of reasoning with a DIRECT ANSWER. SKIP THIS COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO SOLVE IT YOURSELF. first, you can't do a "normal" jump. what kind of jump is abnormal? yeah you might think of double jump and then find that you can't do the first jump so there's absolutely no second one. but that's actually possible if you think that double jump is a jump "in-air" instead of a "second" jump. so, yes, you can walk off a cliff and do your first jump gracefully in the air. :)

@2DArray: The German keyboard layout doesn't have a tilde key, instead you get that symbol with the combination "Alt Gr" + "+". Sadly that doesn't work with the game, so I can't take a look at my progress and the current cheat code. Would you happen to have a solution for that? If not, I'd suggest, you change this in a future version of the game.
Otherwise: Nice gameplay, although a bit harder than most of the usual games here on Kongegrate. I'm stuck on the level, where you can't jump... :-(

Completed the EHUP in literally under 5 seconds. This is not a gloat, this is a hint. Pause, look at the situation, think about it, and know that you can do it in under 5 seconds. Good Luck!
