This is a real masochists only game! I needed the walktrough as soon as chapter 2 and it's very hard even with the walktrough, becouse it requires absoulute precise timeing and aiming! Such difficulty would be barely acceptable for the last levels and it's just the begining! I Think this is the hardest platformer I've ever played, even worse than "I want to be the flash game!". Well, I'm not I mazochist so I skip it.

When I was reading Jack's lines I too noticed the stuttering of his words, though it never occurred to me that he was stuttering. I assumed the slowdown was due to him talking all robot-like (being found in a cave, i figured he'd be a lil off). So my inner monologue read his lines like G-man.

The trick to beating the EHUP is to blow a ring at it, then to run after your ring until it reaches the switch. Hope this helped!

In the last part, when there is a conversation about Jack's backyard, and how he should plant something, like some flowers. And also the refrigerator, square like and eco friendly, one would think that it would come in a big green box......that explains the door and the flowers in the other game

really liked this game, especially that you can skip all the dialog and play it like an ordinary puzzle game if you're tired. Or enjoy a really good storie that makes this game so much better then so many other games. 5/5 :D

Actually, sensors using a beam of light (except for very basic ones) will detect the amount of light received and then trigger on some set threshold. Blowing smoke would block some of the light, but it may or may not be enough to trigger the sensor, depending on how it is setup.

@ diamondrhino: I disagree. An infrared beam would get stopped by smoke, but it would take an awful lot to stop a laser. Just go to any concert venue where bands use them. Also, you can test this at home using a simple laser pointer you can buy at any office supply shop.

@deli conker. no in real life beams are used as alarm triggers and if you blow smoke across a beam, invisible or not, it will activate the alarm. just thought i would clear that up.

This was a really interesting game. I was only able to get to 4.4 before I gave up. It had a story which i'm sure was leading to something and my only real issue with this game was the way in which you had to blow smoke rings, trying to beat a timer while jumping and pushing a button "just long enough" got really old really fast. 3/5

Switches need to stay open for more than 1/2 second. Not enough time to jump & direct smoke ring to second switch before it closes.

I know this will get thumbed down, but what the heck is she smoking? I quit smoking almost 13 years ago, but never blew out smoke like that. And smoke doesn't stop laser beams, in reality, it actually makes them visible to the naked eye.

Well. The smoking loading screen already hurts me. Then I played the game and ... you can't make a game which push people to smoke. I losed my father because he was smoking and I tried many time to make him stop but no ... cancer won. So I put 1/5 but this kind of game shouldn't even exist.

1/5 for emphasizing smoking.
+-! (-19)
Hey, buddy. Your avatar is a picture of Bender from Futurama and you're complaining that it puts emphasis on smoking. What the hell is wrong with you?

@Emperor_Z ... I agree, the rating really doesn't reflect the full quality of the game. Sadly, we live in a world populated not just with Jacks and Kathryns but also with Thomases -- er, TheSphinxes -- and they get to vote on games too. That being said, Decision may be repetitive, but it is, like this title, a very well-made title brought to fruition by effort and hard work. Sometimes The Meadow is somewhere where you can just blow zombies to bits for a little while.

This game was beautiful, just like "The Company Of Myself" was. Gripping and touching story, great gameplay, easy to pick up and go. 5/5 Oh, and @Memorex77, he's a magician, thus the top hat.

Why does this game have a sub-4 rating, it's brilliant! The story is engaging, and the puzzles are challenging. Do people think it's too hard? Do they not want to get invested in a story?
I find it pretty sad that this is rated more poorly than repetitive trash like Decision

I played both games Jack is the main char in "The Company of Myself"
And I've got to say 2DArray Is a GENIUS.....P.S. He might become a LEGEND ;)

Haha, I didn't get the last badge so I tried the last level where he's reflecting on what happened as he's making his way alone downward... but.. I was still there... well, I was invisible, but I could still blow smoke/-rings and could follow him. Was that intentional? I was the ghoooost of Kathryn! Woooooo *wiggles fingers*

It's a great game, but there's really not a whole lot of explanation leading up to the last level... Sure, he sometimes forgets with his medications, but that's the reason he kills her? Seems kind of a let down.
