What awesome design and story and ideas.
But despite lowering all my settings, the control on this is terrible. It's infuriating to see something so cool and not be able to control at all. And my pc is not low-end at all. *sigh*

No, no, no. The idea of puking as propulsion isn't a bad one, but as it is right now it is not well executed. Lots of other games have used similar devices (weapons fire as propulsion, for example) without making me attempt and reattempt the simplest of maneuvers. One idea: let me aim myself with the movement keys, because moving my character AND clicking on the screen in the right direction is needlessly complex. Completing the first chapter has become a chore and I've got better things to do.

@LODERUNNER: Press pause (Esc or P) while in game and change the sound to Disabled. Awesome game, very original concept with nice physics, good level design variation and an ideal difficulty curve. It is a bit laggy, though, even with the graphics settings turned down, perhaps something for the developer to think about for next time. :) A 5/5 from me.

overseas computer/ internet speeds must suck a lot because i have a VERY mid-range computer and mediocre internet and it runs fine for me

I can barely move at all, and my pc is not low end. I disabled backgrounds, set quality to low, antialising to low, sound off.... still looks like it's running about 10-20 x's slower than it should... 2/5 :(

A Gentle Push isn't that hard with what you have. The problem with red puke is that a drop sometimes bounces on your head, which slows you down. Stand in the corner, aim slightly left at where the two floor tiles touch, jump and immediately fire while holding up and right. You should clear the wall in one or two tries.
Anyway, just finished the game. Pretty fun and creative. The lag sucks, but it was never bad enough to cause me to fail a level.

i dislike how touchy the spikes are. don't even have to touch them to die from them... i can't tell you how many times i died when i didn't move or when i didn't touch spikes. otherwise, good game. 4/5

Fob, you need to shoot 2 or 3 small blobs of green to bust up the cloud stripes into larger lumps you can land on. It awarded me the hard badge before I completed the last level :S Good game though very challenging!

A Gentle Push needs either another fruit or more puke to start with because it's just too demanding to get it exactly right to even have a CHANCE of getting up. Other than that, great game, 4/5

Good game, if you ignore the sheer difficulty of the lag killing you. Even on lowest settings with a good machine it lags alot.
