the less-deep way of explaining it- hes a mentally insane murderer who is emotionally scared after killing his wife/girlfriend/lady person and will never recover... fun! :D

i don't get how people say it's so sad though. i never felt anything and i am usually very sensitive. the game is a good puzzle game, though.

Sometimes i play this "game" again, to remember the feeling this "game" gives. Sad is too plain to describe it. Have you seen the movie: Notebook ? When i saw it, it reminded me of this.

Wow, the story is fantastic, sad yet brilliant. It was really touching. The gameplay was fun too -not too hard or too easy 5/5.

That was an absolutely amazing game. I was entranced the whole time and loved the storyline. Truly superb piece of work. Ebert's crazy to think games can't be art.

This storyline is greatly moving and saddening, and provoked a very depressing emotional response from me. I was so touched upon seeing the final report that I was nearly brought to tears. This truly is a masterpiece of a game, and is nothing short of beautiful.

The first game that has left me speechless. This is a wonderful example of a meaningful game. It is truly touching and inspiring. A sad story that leaves you feeling, well, happy. Poor Jack. 5/5.

Many games have tried to achieve the same effect that you have created in this game... Empathy, sadness, thoughtfulness... you really think about what the narrator was saying and what it really means to be alone doing all the things that you did with someone special.
Many people could learn from this game what it means to be alone, what sort of thoughts the person could have.
10/10 my friend and may we all have someone to tell their story to.

If you wait long enough at the "The End" screen a message appears:
"The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore."
So he does remember the shrink visiting, even though in the report the shrink says that he doesn't remember any of their prior meetings.... that's so sad :(

I didn't like this game since it wasn't entertaining, is a ripoff of another puzzle game involving a time traveling robot, and was relatively short. I'm also not really interested in poetry. I guess I don't exactly think like all y'all, maybe it's just me, but this game SUCKED. 1/5

I have been deeply moved by this story, I think we can all relate to him in some way. I couldn't handle my nan's (Dorathy) death for I was only 8 . . . . this Monday commemorates her death. This monday is also a public holiday (for ANZAC day) and 2 of my relatives died in that war . . . also my nan's husband (Lloyd.)
When you play this game you feel like your in it . . . . You wouldn't enjoy it ether, wold you?I would just like to leave you with this thought. You might want to write your message to him in your diary too.
If you could send him a message, what would you say?

:( Okay I really liked this one! It makes me sad, but I love that there is both a purpose and a challenge. Now that I finally finished it after starting it forever ago and forgetting, I understand why it is in the top. I love it, 5/5. Really, creative, beautiful, good music, and good plot. <3

How do you even,, how? BAH! How do you complete the level with the huge gap? Nothing but a giant gap. IT'S SO CONFUSING!
