I love this game....The music really adds to the mood, and it really affects your feelings for this man....how he had a career of an actor, being lonely all his life, the murder of his wife...How I cried for the sake of the main character....5/5.

Good story, yeah yeah.
Once a week for 8 years?!?!?! That's about 416 times. He heard the same story 416 times? I think it's the psychologist who's really crazy.

I seem to run into a Bug quite often, the game wont go to the loading screen, and the Intro just keeps looping, and i never actually play the game. 2/5 Until Fixed.

Why are people saying he didnt kill her? The text at the and says he "didn't recall murdering her" (saying he did, be he doesn't remember), and he buried her in the backyard in a green box

@LukeMann - I don't believe Jack chooses to believe so either. But why else would he have a "memory" of pulling the trap door from underneath her and then have the epilogue mention him burying her in his back yard in a green box. Sorry, but his story sounds far more stalker-ish than romantic...

I love 2D aray's games. this has a big place in my hart togheter with viricide. admitidley the two games where only "good". It is the story that makes them awesome

This is the worst game I have every played, the story made me want to kill myself and all I could think of how pathetic the designers life must be to make a game like this so that people will feel sorry for him/her. The only reason I played this game was for the power up points. Epic fail

I rediscovered this game thanks to kong daily badge. I loved it then, i still love it. It is a beautiful game with an even more beautiful music. I decided to leave a comment when i realized the music was still playing even though i switched to mypaint. Thanks!

I just don't see why everybody feels so sorry for Jack. He freaking killed her and everybody is saying "Poor Jack. I cried for him." If Kathryn were my mother/sister/daughter, I would be pushing for lethal injection!

Personally, I thought the story was a little melodramatic.
However, the game-play was cool - an original concept with the copying. I liked thinking about each level. The whole thing was pretty short, though. I felt like I was still figuring out the mechanics when it ended. I would have liked more levels to challenge me. Anyone else want more levels?

I played the game when the badge came out, didn't think much of it tbh, so I gave it a 2/5 and quit. Today I played it again for the extra 15 points and started reading the texts (thoughts/writings, if you will) and I didn't really get it the first time. So I played it again and finally began to understand the meaning of the Title "The Company of Myself" and the different thoughts he and the shrink must have had. It's a beautiful story and I've changed my 2-star rating to a 5-star and a fav!

it is the most heartbreakinly sad story you will ever find, i wanted to stop playing the minute it got to kathryn. I'm torn to see such a guy have a horrible life like that and i truly do feel his pain. Great, but extremely s-sad g-game 10/10 D':

Ok, so here's my serious review. - It was a good puzzle game. I really liked the *poof* of smoke effect (graphically). The rest of the graphics were passable. The story line was top notch as far as puzzle game story lines can be. Music seemed appropriate. There were a couple minor issues though. Using the word "shrink" makes the game a little less professional. "Doctor" would have been a much better choice. As it's fairly clear that Jack had a hand in her death (he did pull the lever that made her fall), I think a better ending would be that after the doctor leaves, a priest accompanied by four guards lead him to the firing line.
