On that certain map, I could see she had to fall. I even tried to do it the other way round, to stop her from falling... But he can't stand on her head... :(

After playing this I now realise that it is one of the most beautiful games on Kongregate - while the puzzles are not very hard, the writing is superb and the storyline is touching. Kongregate should have a section which categorizes games like these - I think that category would include that game where you can't look back (because your dead lover is floating behind you) and others.

Halfway through the end story, I had to alt-tab to take care of business in another window. When I came back, all I saw was the "The End" screen, with no way to go besides refreshing the entire page. Instead of continuing at the last level to read the ending, it only allowed me to start a new game. I'm sad that I won't be able to enjoy the story, or give more than 1/5.

It's hard to find professional games that can weave a story into the gameplay very well. This is done so well here that I'm almost astonished. Great control and an outstanding story. My only complaints are that it's short, and it could be a little more difficult. Still easily a 5/5 game. Amazing.

Amazing game. +If you agree!
If you don't get the point of the story, the entire storyline is the visit from the Psychologist. The "challenges" are pictures and objects shown to him by the Psychologist which he has to explain what it feels like and means. He's explaining to the Psychologist that it's like how his life used to be except that he's doing it all by himself instead of with Kathryn. He then goes on to explain about what happened with Kathryn, but it's unsure of how she died, probably with a challenge they did together. The green box at the end of every challenge signifies the box that he had to find to put her into. The flowers that you spawn at/checkpoint are the 2 flowers he put next to her grave. Personally, I think she died a normal death, and he just put her in the box and buried her because he couldn't handle her death. But that's just me.

A truly beautiful and depressing story all at once. I'm just sad I didn't play it sooner, but better late than never. Definitely an game I will urge friends and family to experience. The pixel art is gorgeous and the soundtrack is just icing on the cake.

This is a work of pure art, there is something beautiful in this game that you cant find in books or movies. Its the interaction, the story slowly progressing through the game, it makes you want to see the whole story. In the end I held back tears, it was so moving it can make people with good lives sit back and think, to have compassion on those who do live through depression, I really wanted to help Jack. The music completes it to make it all this, 5/5 I loved it.

So beautiful. Even though the game itself was just a decent puzzle game, the storyline is what makes it so superb. It's so moving and almost brought me to tears.
If you don't get the story, here's my take of it. Jack lived a solitary life, tackling each problem by himself. The clones represents the try, try, try again part of his life, handling everything on his own while the box at that point represented the everyday goals. Then after Kathryn entered his life, there was no point of the clones, no point of doing it himself. She always helped him and he helped her mutually. Kathryn's death represents her willingness to sacrifice her for Jack. He blames himself and after that, the box represents Kathryn's grave and eventually, the goal every day until he goes into solitary, at least until he drifts into an empty shell...

Ok, I will make zero friends saying this: the controls suck. You can see the solution about an hour before you can force your hands to press the right buttons without screwing it up. Puzzles are fun when they're mentally challenging, but the challenge of this game seems to be overcoming muscle memory from all the games that use the spacebar to jump. Maybe someday I'll find a story in this game, but right now the controls are just too obnoxious. If you want a great "time travel" game, shell out for The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. The general game idea is pretty much the same, but it makes sense enough that you can spend more time working out solutions and less time smashing your fist into the keyboard in frustration.

That was an amazing game. I was sucked in on the 1st level. Very interesting storyline to go along with it. Of a 5 point rating system, I give it a 10.
