i would like to add on to my first comment. i am not trying to sound so drymatic, but this game in a way has changed my life a little. i am not old enough or do i have enough money. but this game has inspired me. enough to creat a project when i am older. a project called the Live Your Dream Project. it will help people with mental disabilities as well as physical. for thier on big dream, the one people say they can never accomplish. i would likee them to live that dream just like any other person would.

When the game was over I just sat and watched the screen for around 15 minutes thinking about it and how sad the end was. Beautiful, just beautiful.

Quite the depressing game. It seems to resonate within me, leaving a profound emptiness. And it just goes with the whole idea to me that really, you can't trust much in life. You can't trust society, those around you, or even yourself. You can't trust that the sun will rise in the morning, because for so many it sets for the final time, inconveniently, without warning. I give the game 10/10. But as far as a game would go, bringing entertainment and an escape from our reality, this game just makes it that more tangent. It does not entertain. It only makes me doubt.

I think that it's so sad. I don't really cry as much anymore, but this game brought out the feeling of pure sadness. Not many games do that. I felt the most during the flashback of Kathryn, and the end. I didn't cry, but I got really close. I would probably rate the game 99999999999999999999999999999999999999/10. It's that good.
Pure...........sadness.

The story is depressing sad and emotional. The music if your listening to it and playing it in the dark like I was makes you feel depressed and sad and watched during it. It was.. simply..amazing.

These kind of games just move me in a deep way, i beleive that this is one of the saddest games on kong. in the very end i cried. this game is just beautiful.

As well as all the symbolism above, I feel that the levels surrounded by dirt are symbolic of Kathryn buried in the ground. Also, just wanted to say what a beautiful game, very touching.

Man... I'm crying too! I usually give up on these puzzles games, but I saw one or two coments here and I really wanted to go and see the final report. And man... shiver, shiver, shiver! O: My god, this is a masterpiece... one of the most moving games I've ever played... and man, it was made with what? 8-bit pixels? That's just so great that I'm going to indicate to all friends! Congratulations... and you got a new fan, creators! O:

He was responsible for Kathryn's death. The psychologist says specifically at the end that he murdered her. This is more than noteworthy if you want to analyze the plot.

such attention to poetic detail...even at the loading screen it says: i am somewhat impatient, but i know the game will be loaded soon.

Why is it that all of these really beautiful inde games have depressing, twist endings?
its just like Limbo, Braid and a few others....

I'm often disappointed by puzzle games, even though I love them. This game was WONDERFUL. The story was perfect, the music was good enough to listen to, and the game itself was challenging and fun. All I can say is; I want MORE!

I find myself playing the game over and over every once and while because of the touching story.
Bless the creator, and please countinue to make these games.

Such a good game. I love the symbolism of each part. The flowers you start at being the flowers by the grave, the green door at the end being the green box she was buried in... Even the dialogue was a perfect show of what the story was about, in this sort of story telling narrative. I also love how the gameplay was set up, with you being alone, working by yourself, learning how to get through the challenges of life, then you meet someone that you rely on, that relies on you. Then the way you kill her. How you end up on your own again. How you have to learn to solve things alone. Really, beautiful work.

the level where he pulls the switch and she falls is when she dies and then the level where you touch the two flowers is the 2 flowers he put by her grave.
