Overall great level design. a little annoying how even with sounds muted there's still random sound effects. Also -1 star for the blow-up doll boobs

Just a heads up for those experiencing a very slow character and painfully lengthy level transitions--after watching videos of various people playing the game, I have determined that this is a bug. I think it might have something to do with monitor refresh rates, similar to the super fast wall glitch of before. I apologize, and I am currently looking into it.

I appreciate that more and more of these games are getting controller support. There's something better about using a controller for platformers.

Solid platformer, excellent music, nice atmosphere. Quibbles: some of the death spikes need to be a lot more forgiving, the character is a bit slow, and a little more variety in the background art would be nice.

The character is a bit slow to stop imo and I think a bit more variation in the level design would've been good, even if it was just basic palette swaps. I think the hitboxes on some of the spikes could probably be made a little more lenient as well although overall it's an alright basis for a platformer.

Game is a little difficult at first, for better or worse. I don't think I would want an extremely easy game. The main character is hyper sexualized.

I thought about changing my rating from a 1 after you added more checkpoints, but then I finished the game and saw those ridiculous breasts. Seriously dude, have you ever even seen a woman in real life?

Wow. The music is indeed very good. (The first song is the best though.) Nice atmosphere. And the story is really cute.

I'm afraid you are leaking memory somewhere. I left the game on a Chrome tab for the afternoon, and when I came back, the tab was using 100% CPU and more than 500Mo of memory !

This a great old-school platformer! It made me feel young again :-D
Minor nitpicks:
1. I am not sold on the SFX and the music. Concerning the music, it is not bad, but I am not sure it is a good match. The SFX are a bit crackling or something, not top quality I think.
2. I more or less agree with others about checkpoints, but I think just 2 or 3 levels deserve 1 single extra checkpoint (one is Paths, another one an earlier level, and then the final level). For 2 reasons: firstly because learning sequences until you master them enough is part of a good experience in this type of game, and a little bit of frustration makes also success much more rewarding, and secondly because in most levels there are cleverly located safe spaces where you can rest (a level is not a big non-stop sequence).
But overall, I repeat: great old-school platformer, really.

Really fun, good music. I also wish there were checkpoints, but it's somewhat bearable. I managed to finish. One thing that would raise my rating: THE TITS HAVE TO GO! Totally ridiculous and makes me lose respect for you as a developer. Do you believe your game isn't good, so you have to throw in some over-the-top sexualization? Bad decision in an otherwise good game.

great game, and everyone complaining about restarting a level . . . oh right you don't remember the old days where you had to restart constantly (I'm sure I will get downvoted for this but compared to super mario world on SNES this was nothing . . . yes I caught the similarity)
One thing the end of 'run' I think it was called is unfair, having a timed stage with a drop you can't see means virtually everyone will die there once for no reason other than 'didn't know I had another platform there'

Come on, the "Run" level is ridiculous. You're making it a chore, not challenge. Add some checkpoints or breaks in the action there.

Well, it looks like 'Rise' is my personal fall, at least for now! Congrats on creating a set of Hells that would make Dante blush! :D This is one of the most unforgiving and downright merciless games I've ever played, so well done!
