How to Play
Arrow keys to move, spacebar to fire. The crystal upgrades either give you more life, armour, better weapon or points depending on the colour.
Developer Updates
This is a beta. If you find bugs or have ideas please let me know either in chat or a profile shout.
Changes:
- There is now, at random, a second wave of monsters
- player movement is limited to up and down now. There appears to be no way to have Flash handle 3 key presses (up + left + fire for instance)
- Added a shield panel
- Fixed monster targetting so it doesnโt miss the player
- monsters now fire more rapidly
- powerups appear at random when a monster is killed rather than before which was every round
- reduced the background moving effect
- made monsters only fire if the player is in front of them, they were firing to the left if the player was behind
- shield level is capped at 2
- lives are capped at 5
- think I fixed the bug where monsters werenโt appearing for a round

Hmm maybe make a game more like this but giving a cash reward and buying upgrades? Or buying things such as improved chances of receiving an upgrade on kill?

the game kept stopping so much that i was waiting more than playing so i suicided all 5 lives in a small gap between freezes, then while i was typing a comment my entire comp froze and i had to restart. plz fix this so i can see how high my score can really get =3
)
