to everyone who says its hard calmly: just relax when they attack you retreat, let them take your supplies you wont need it anyway. what you need is gold, and a market. then start with the out of the city stuff.
to all people who says this game sucks because its too hard: STOP GIVING PEOPLE THE WRONG IDEA OF THE GAME JUST BECAUSE YOU SUCK AT PLAYING IT.

Finally! I beat the game. 301st place in high scores. For now. 279 days 10044365
It took a little while for me to figure out what strategy I needed, but after a long struggle for a few weeks, I did it!

BULL FUKING SHIT THIS GAME SUCKS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO WIN THEY ATACK WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE 10 OR SO SOLDIER WITH 400 SPEAR 200 SHIELD AND 50 ARCHERS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN ANY BATTLES UNTIL LIKE WEEK 30

i had 1616 long swordsman,285 heavy,456 archer,65 cavalry,and 363 eagle warriors.the enemy had 206 long, 105 heavy,59 archer 32 cavalry,and 21 eagle. how the hell did i lose????

How do you win, OR lose? I was attacked tons of times at my home city and retreated or lost many of them. Then I attacked their city and won, all I got was tons of resources and kept playing.

I really like the game. I understand why there's no save. However, the computer part of the game gets so far ahead of the part we're in that we can hardly keep up with the amount of troops. That needs to be worked out a bit so we can have a chance. I will still play this, though. :)

Great game. Kind of long. Stinks you can't build any super soldiers as the "fire" camp. first army is not better you just have to spam up the tech tree to get the defensive soldiers should be ok since you can make all troops concurrently. wn 3 of 4 first battles

heavy soldiers did it for me once i started making them they just wiped the floor with the other guys, i'm on week 23 now building an army to attack them

also, it's totally bs, that you need so much building to get the next unit, and by the time the first army atks you dont even have 100 long sword and they already have archers.

yah.. seriously, after like week 8 or 9, the computer starts becoming overpowered, before you could still match in strength. but now, it's just like they build much faster than you do. for example: I kill off about 800 to 1000 long swords.. the next time they atk, they have 2000 >.> while I only created like 200.. it really is unfair. also, it's really hard to take over the adv. camp..

Glitch: even with everything maxed, and sufficient resources (including diamonds) to train, it would not allow me to train any Fire Spirits.

Battle mode needs a complete redesign. It's quite rudimentry compared to the rest of the game and is unsatisfying. That and the fact that no matter how well you do, you are always outnumbered by the hundreds.

at first i thought it was a bad game when the enemy would attack so soon with almost 200+ troops then i found out how good archer and long sword combo was. THEN the enemy kept attacking with more and more troops every 30 seconds even after i defeated them i would only have a few troops left so i would start rebuilding then thirty seconds later the enemy would attack me with hundreds more that he had last time no matter how i fought him he would always have hundreds more each attack 2/5

Good once you work out how to start off.
Way too steep a learning curve and very easy at the end. Maybe another city you could control?

A very advanced, attack while defending game. If I had money, I'd support the makers all the way, this is a REAL strategic game!

2/5 - no save, other than that, too easy- ranged units own too much , you can kill anything with 1000+ archers, computer isnt the most intelligent either, when you attack its city, it still sends forces out.

needs save very quick attack on us damn divene soliders dont even work no spawn and evertime u attack the enemy he attacks u back causing the game to go retarded and kill ur huge ass attacking force and lets him win

no so great as you can really glitch this game ummmm i really dont think is completed ether in like 30 min to an hr you can just build and make troops theres no save it makes me angery but all and all its get 8/100000 yea its that bad

Not so great. Comp seems to send same army, including hero, that it uses to def against your attack... kinda strange, eh? Not completed game so 1/5

battle mode is beyond retarded. Sometimes you're army retreats for reasons unknown, sometimes they sit there and pelt your walls until you randomly retreat. sometimes you don't retreat at all, and you lose. No save button, and the instructions/help are actually useless. And coming from someone who loves the Age of Empires style Strategy/Defense games, this game is rather unuser friendly.
And I'll enter the 400th complaint about not having a save feature. Thanks for wasting my time and frustrating me.
