For me it was extremelly hard to find where to place the lighting/fire/dragon towers. every scuare was red for those towers.

3.5/5 (rounded to 4) and here is why:
-I dislike that the paths are meaningless, but at least you help us from screwing up too bad by making sure we dont build too far from the temple.
-There are a lot of things to work with (research, blessings, gold, towers, heroes) which is awesome.
-I don't like scrolling the map, but it's not a big deal.
-I am having an issue with really annoying lag.
I'd suggest you see if the lag issue is from your end and not mine because its that kind of thing that can really ruin a game.

This is a very good game, but there are little things that bring it down. I'm giving it a 4/5. Bugs that you need to fix are how the carts sometimes run into each other and get stopped for awhile. You also need to add more character sounds to everyone.

The entire "save game" function is crippled and confusing. I just overwrote my game on accident, which is something that shouldn't happen. Also, why would I need to keep entering my name over and over again each time I save? Looks like a fun game, but it feels too sterile. Like a TD game with some added but completely unnecessary extras, Integrate the academy, market, etc. more to add a sense of tactics and not "build all of this and research everything!"

Would be nice to be able to queue hero orders using the shift key.
Traps should be 3x3 in size, 3* more expensive to buy and upgrade; because there is no set enemy route, it is very difficult to place them effectively.
Market carts frequently get stuck ON EACH OTHER for several seconds at a time. There seems to be no reason for this other than to screw me over. Market carts should not collide with each other, if possible. Colliding with enemies and heroes is fine though, obviously.

A good game but the graphics leave a bit to be desired. Also quite challenging. You finish with one wave and the next one start immediately afterwards it seems. Perhaps a bit more down time so you can build up your defenses more.

Dumb? Are you sure you understand how to play this game. This game is far from dumb.....Darkroot, I'm sure if you try, you will learn how to play it.

MacForce, give us a reason for why... this game "sucks." I'm happy that a 5/5 game was posted on Kongregate to break the spell of Monster's Den:BOD. I give it a 5/5 for the great concept and followthrough graphics. good work.

Best defense game I've played.
I would add a recall function to the marketplace, so that the carts can be sheltered if the battle gets too close to the temple.

Great game. quite easy to understand, challenging and not hard to look at (no too-fancy pointless flashy graphics).
definitely a 5/5 (didn't find anything to complain about so far)

umm...my market cart thing got destroyed, couldnt see anything to build another cart so I sold the market, now there is no option to make another market...Dx.

It doesn't seem to be saving any of my progress. If I finish a map, when I come back to it, I have to start all over. Any thoughts?

okay, this is a beta so i'm not going to rate until it is done fully. i like it, everyone who thinks it is hard then you don't know strategy games. it's meant to be hard...
defend all your buildings, make sure they are barely getting damaged, as i have seen it, it costs to repair them. always make sure your marketplace is alive and well lol.
1. Needs a save function (obviously)
2. Battle news should say Battle Report, it sounds more military like.
3. you shouldn't have to leave a space between towers.
4. make a building that allows you to build further into the map, like a mini temple kind of thing.
5. make a restart button, surrender or suicide or something.
6. skills for heroes.

7. make navy, air and ground units, like the hero but less powerful. (might take some doing) but this will make it more like an rts than a tower defence game.
8. Sort out the battle report, it just says NAN for me.
9. make the gold collection into a mine/ other town/ bandit camp, rather than just the gold symbols at the edge of a map.
10. a healing tower that heals the others faster within its radius.
11. when you upgrade to longer range towers, make the range show up (not sure if thats there, never checked)
12. maybe make it multiplayer?
13. make an actual story line, progressing every level.

great beta. very promising concept. deffinately ran into negatives on funds causing my demise, but otherwise...cant wait for the actual release =D.

Great start, i didnt run into an issues as far as bugs on my first go, didnt play too long though.....needs major work on costs....as soon as i had a market which was in 1 sec. I have 12 guys praying. great concept to start from...we always complain that all tower defense is the same damn thing....well this one takes a bold jump out of it and makes it like a tower defense allong with age of empires thrown in- kudos for a beta. may wish to make campaign mode a bit more engaging like a bit of story behind it

Bugs galore-first when i chose tutorial and all bonuses w/e then the flashy play button flashes and i can't click it-in other words the game wount start.Needs lots of fixing.

Argh, can't finish just one map, cause there's too many bugs. Once, my merchants couldn't go to the market, this time my gold's decreasing without reason. But that could be a really fun game, once finished ;)
