Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. I had no problem dodging attacks (you jump) but otherwise I agree the combat could use some spicing up. Overall cute idea and I would like to see it developed into a full game.

I have gotten stuck, in the room just after the one where you absorb the duck ability. I tried to duck to avoid a possible attack by a blob that was infront of me, and I never stood back up, and cannot move.

If you have a problem with freezing or being "stuck in a pit" please give me more details such as where, what you were doing, etc. or I can do nothing about it.

great game. The battles were a little boring though. Also it was kinda repetitive. My suggestion is to make LOTS of different enemies. Then you can only have "1 jump ability", "2 attack abilities", "2 special abilities (increased regen from power supplies, increased damage, etc)... or maybe just add an ability limit. Anyway, maybe you could even add an exp/level system.
Btw, if you are having trouble with hitTest (like falling through platforms), instead of making you character move "_y += 15" make a loop that moves your character "_y += 1" and check for collisions every single movement. (hope you understand what i'm trying to say)

It's a good concept but it needs refining, like graphics and better combat.
