Some problems I find:
-It's really horrible that if you touch the top you die, make it so only the bottom kills you, not both edges
-Can you make it so the space lazer doesn't destory fuel? Annoying.
-When you die, you just are instantly sent back to the beginning. Not even a game over screen or anything
-You need an option to go back to the menu if you're going to add anything there
-Big problem is that the lazer requires too much time to destroy an asteroid, and you could easily crash into an asteroid when trying to burn it away. Worse, you could of burned away an asteroid so it's nearly invsible thinking it's gone when trying to go get fuel T_T

It's got potential, but it needs more graphics work, and better instructions. The asteroids look bad, and it's hard to tell when they're completely destroyed. Get rid of the fading, and add an animation of a rock breaking up. Also, the ship and the exhaust trail need a redesign. And are the red things extra fuel? I don't know, because the game never told me.

You took a pretty over used concept and added an interesting twist with the front laser....do you blow through the rocks in time, or should you fly around the. Nice! Take it further now, maybe add more stuff now that you have this as a building block. Deffinatly add a start page and maybe add new ships that change the speed and control. Good start. 4 of 5 for a flash beginner.

In addition to my other comment, instead of asteroids killing you, you could set a life bar and each asteroid you bump into takes away 50 health. Ship upgrades: DEFAULT: 200 health, Ship 1: 500 health. Ship 2: 1000 health, etc. Also do put in a money feature for each asteroid you destroy, so we could buy things in the shop that you would make... Could upgrade the lazer. Lazer Default: power 1. Lazer 1: power 3. Lazer 2: power 6. Lazer 3: power 10. etc.
Btw, my other comment was: You could put lazer upgrades, bombs (destroy all on screen), levels (for example, reach 1k distance on lvl 1 to get to lvl 2), and there could even be a shop where you could upgrade your ship to get more health. I would also like to see some health packs. For the moment, im going to give it a 4/5. :)
