I love Bullet hell games! Also this might be a bug, but you can double your rate of fire by pressing W key and Left Click :P

You definitely made some interesting choices with the weapon firing sideways. Overall, not a bad game!
You can rotate your shooting with A and D though. Thanks for your review!

Uh, so as I move my guy to the edge of the map, the angle that I'm shooting changes.
Also, add an autotfire button. There's no reason not to fire all the time.
