It seems to be bugged, after I've killed the two enemies that move in circles and shoot out 4 bullets each nothing happens!
Some suggestions:
A menu of some sorts, with a mute/new game/credits section
Auto-shooting, having to press the B-button each time will become a pain.
Upgrades?
It looks really nice and flows on smoothly, keep it up!

It's a good start, but it's bugged. After dying, my lives count did not decrease. After destroying the two enemies that move in circles, nothing happens.
This game could also be improved by adding powerups, automatic fire, and more types of enemies.
