Upgrades are a bit pricey.
thank you for your feedback. the game started out as a game on iOS and Google Play, and players can pay 99c to get some start up resources. For the Kongregate version, I'll look into giving some start up resources in an update.

great graphic... nice game...however, even with the strat up resources, it takes forever to upgrade...in this fast pace world, who will have the patient?

dear fans of orion nebula, I've made the following updates:
- grant a bonus starting resource of 5000, since it's not possible to make IAP purchase on the html5 version.
- double the enemy drops and resource bonus from level score.
- you can now control the ship with keyboard. Use ASWD for directions and space for stopping the ship.

Music? What music? too much grinding to get anywhere.

played through two and a half levels and I only got 300 resources... so after about 7-9 levels of playing, you can buy one basic upgrade? I can't imagine anyone sticking around long enough to get the 20k to upgrade jets.
