Did you only have words appear up to 100? Cause what you could do is have a random phrase pop up every 10 or so. It's not a bad start, but you could trim the cloud sprites more, and I think it would feel better to play if Nyan Cat responded to mouse position faster. Not instantly, but faster.. Anyway, keep making games! ^_^
