ok, scrolled around and found a bunker, but the map is too big to actually want to search for a key. maybe make an easy mode with a smaller map, but maybe others might enjoy it.

Thanks for the Feedback. The Map currently is 100x100 (depending on the generation, it can be smaller than than) Having a smaller map is a good Ideia, I will change the dimensions in order to make it smaller.

No matter how many survivors I have, it seems like I can only use three at a time. Farms, shops and hospitals seem to have no function. I can't tell if the key to the bunker is in a random location (which would mean game months of searching) or a set one (which would mean game months of searching and that claiming the wrong spot before searching makes it impossible to find), but it seems like more effort than I care to put into this either way.
Thanks for the Feedback. About the Survivors, that must be a Bug. I will look into it. The Key can be found by searching any tile (you have a 1 in 20 chance of finding it)

What is claiming other tiles than houses good for? Why would I want to build on or deconstruct captured tiles? What do the other buildings, spare the houses, do? Why can't I dedicate resources to defend tiles under attack? Finally I searched ~300 tiles and piled up resources, what are they good for and why do I still have no key? Sorry but to me the game makes no sense.

searched for over 20 rounds at 3 searchers per round, no key... your 5% chance is not correct... no key bug is more likely. buildings don't do anything, no need to build anything, finally got 4 workers after about 80 days, just rush for the bunker, surround it, and search endlessly for a key that can't be found. nice start... very broken, though.
