This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Description
Greetings Planetary Assassin!
Your mission is to dig to the center of this planet and steal the core mass. Use your mining laser and mobile upgrade station to achieve your objective, then escape to collect the bounty.
This is a slightly revised Ludum Dare 23 entry. The idea was basically a lunar lander / mining game hybrid.
How to Play
Use the WASD keys, Arrows, or Number Pad to maneuver your ship and your mouse to fire your mining laser as you burrow to the core of this unsuspecting planet.
Once it loses the mass of its core it will be destined to spiral into fiery oblivion.
The Escape key toggles the menu.
Your game is now automatically saved on embark.

For people with fuel issues, here's a hint: Don't COMPLETELY clear out all the dirt as you dig down. Using your laser on even empty dirt will refuel you.

I like upgrades so it gets 3 stars! Didn't really care for it too much, but it wasn't a bad game. Keep up the good work!

I've found it impossible to dock without exploding... i think you should be able to land safely and not explode.
