I am surprised that I get no benefit from eating another creature, only from eating the little "food" pellets. Here I am, munching, munching, munching right up through a tail towards a head & all of my "food" goes spurting out to the sides... to be gobbled up by the other creatures. All work, no pay makes me upset.

Very much like real life, as soon as you think yourself the king of the pond, a vastly superior mutated monstrosity appears to eat you.

The penalty for losing segments is brutal. And the AI chases you down as soon as it detects weakness. Very difficult.

The update made it more playable for sure. The progression is still a bit slow. I used the strategy of making sure everybody but me was missing pieces, and then harvesting them slowly. Late in the game, though, I killed one and all of a sudden this hyper-evolved megaboss showed up and wrecked me.

Awesome game, I just have a couple of things I miss; a HOTKEY to enter the menu - it often ruins your path having to move the mouse up there. Also, sometimes it lags like 10 secs when in the menu, to load the menu main screen. I do like the level of progress, it's slow, but you really feel a difference with every little mutation :)
