This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Description
Life Tree is a Tower Defense game with a twist: as enemies approach you from either side of the screen, you must rotate your planet to aim your towers against them.
On your planet grows the Tree of Life; its fruits give you the power to build these defenses and essentially act as your lifeline as enemy forces attempt to destroy them.
How to Play
+WASD/Arrow Keys + Enter (or Mouse)+: Navigate menus;
*In-game controls*
+A,D/Arrow keys+: Rotate planet (can be switched to Mouse by selecting "Mouse Movement" in the Options menu);
+P/Escape+: Pause;
+M+: Toggle mute music;
+N+: Toggle mute sounds;
Click and drag apples to plant them on the gardens;
Double-click on planted apples to remove them;
Double-click on dead apples to revive them at the cost of energy.

The game is unfinished. Needs a lot of work. Switch all controls on mouse.

it feels like the enemies have too much of an advantage. once there're more than two on screen, it's nearly impossible to kill them without taking damage.

Nice artwork and sound but lacking mechanically. Starting off with faster planet rotation and shooting speed/bullet speed but with more enemies would make it faster paced and more fun.
