It shouldn't move all the way back unless you trigger the skull. Takes forever to get a long enough random chain of not skulls to win. Got about 3 cards from win... bored now.

Glorious Victory! Two of the numbers seemed meaningless. Everything seemed to be dependent on having enough HP (Shields) to withstand the random Skull cards as you hold in the right arrow until you win.
