Nice concept but I'd really like it if I could MOVE with arrow keys or wasd and use the mouse to aim where I want the meteors to go, kinda like a breakout game.

Not a bad concept, but it seems to have a few issues. Mainly that there is no indicator as to why you lose sometimes, as in the robot and its shield are both alive... if its the planet that is getting damaged too much or a timer then there is no information currently to tell you this.
