Description
Fuseback is a 2D top down survival shooter, this is only a prototype that i made in one week, my idea is to create something a little bigger with more survival stuff to do, you can give me a nice feedback if you want, but don't be mean, thanks!
How to Play
Use WASD to move the player around.
Use the mouse to point and shoot.
Use 1, 2 and 3 to change weapons.

Holy shit the movement in this game is actually amazing once you get used to it. At first I hated it but now I'm wondering why more top downs don't have these movement controls.

(14) Maps feel small, and the given movement speed is probably to fast for them. (15) Character spawns way to close to the edge and zombies sometimes spawn too close to the player as well, meaning zombies can box you in before you have a good chance to react. (16) Character can reach too far (for my tastes) to pick up objects. (17) I really enjoy being able to maneuver in tight spaces between zombies. That being said, zombies could use a tiny increase in collision detection range. It seems like their hands go through you before they actually hurt you. (18) The loss of health due to the occasional knockback-ping-ponging between zombies can be frustrating. Not sure what the best solution to this is.

(9) Reloading is such a standard feature nowadays that I constantly found myself pressing 'R' when I don't need to. (10) Seeing as to how many extra guns are laying around, running into one really shouldn't automatically switch your current weapon. (11) There is almost no difference between the hand gun and the machine gun. I lean on the handgun more, though, since i can click faster than the machine gun fires. Should probably change the machine gun to have a faster fire rate but with some spread. (12) Shouldn't the machine gun cartridge be larger than the handgun's and not the other way around? (13) Character turns unnaturally with mouse movement. It would help a good deal if the character's pivot point was further back.

The core gameplay is promising but it has a ways to go before it becomes great. I'm reviewing the game as it is as opposed to what it could be. (1) Players and Zombies can move before the screen changes. (2) Sometimes my cursor changes to that circle-with-slash symbol and the character stops turning so long as I hold the fire key down. Half of those times, my character will also keep moving forward until I stop shooting. (3) Game has scrollbars when not in fullscreen. The top of the screen also gets cut off, meaning you can't see anything above the kills and health numbers. (4) Pressing escape to get to the menu also means exiting full screen. (5) The green zombies' hair changes to a darker color when chasing you. I think their shirts do too. (6) Zombies can't find a path to you if you keep real close to the bottom or left walls. (7) Zombie sounds are noticeably louder than all other sounds. (8) Character starts spazzing if you move forward while the mouse is close to him.

(Suggestions:) (19) Would be nice to have an option to move in the cardinal directions ('W' moves north, etc.) instead of moving toward the cursor. (20) Melee weapons would probably work really well with what you got here so far. (21) Have zombies move at varying speeds so as to require more decision making. (22) Add in an occasional bear to spruce up the monster variety. (23) You can squeeze through trees and so can the zombies, but they more often get stuck on it. As such, there are some slightly exploitable spots. I actually like the idea of being able to get between the trees. Would be great if you could have trees be impassable in the middle but on the edges you can get through, though at a bit slower speed. (24) Add an occasional boulder or park bench to spruce up the scenery.
