Some actions like shooting laser or warping take place after the kill shot. Autofire and getting rid of the energy consumed on shot system would be more enjoyable, it would also make weapon upgrades viable because currently the speed at which you get energy and click determines the damage not the weapon upgrades. The accuracy stat is useless in a game that uses spread fire. Stats like energy or shield are not set to max when starting a wave(lowering energy by test fire then starting). The automatic pause gets in the way and makes your ship jump, a manouverability setting that allows the ship to follow the mouse at a certain speed instead of jumping to its coordinates is more balanced.

There will be a #2 with all the cool fixes I first envisioned for this game. This is simply my first published game, so I focused on the fundamentals.

As far as the ship following the mouse at a set pace I did that a long time ago in the form of engines that were upgradeable, and I didn't like it really. It just feels better when the ship responds exactly to the mouse.

ok Razul and a few others. All your improvements have been noted, and I just now made some huge modifications to correcting enemy lasers, streamlining the game with an Auto-upgrade button, next wave or return to shipyard for those who never want to see the shipyard screen again :) And that annoying unpause button has been removed forever, now it is a humorous screen that you can click on anywhere. :)
