Hey Kongregate! Here's my first submission...obviously made through the Shootorials. I did draw everything myself though so PLEASE if you want to be helpful comment on something like my art or general mechanics...don't just say it's lame because I'm aware it's not all that complex =)
**MAJOR UPDATE**
I've taken peoples' suggestions and here is my new product! Now has sounds, upgradeable weapons, and increasing waves of difficulty. Enjoy!
How to Play
Arrows to move, space bar to shoot.

darn almost doubled the all time high score, and the api isnt working lols.
but it is a good step in the right direction from the shootorials chap :)

I generally heart the graphics, though the bosses are a little...unintimidating. Try and make them more evil-ish :D
Also, it's really slow paced. From a programming standpoint, I'd increase the value of a couple of movement variables >:D
