Very nice. Though keeping my left hand on space, F, and G felt pretty awkward. Also, I sometimes had trouble telling deadly terrain apart from safe terrain.

There are some kinks that need to ironed out. The controls are a bit floaty and you need to get used to it - the swinging mechanic for example. Or the one room with the blue artifact where you need to pull out the green block above to shove it into that repelling enemy. When you defeat the spider and try to climb up (which is already a bit wonky) you pull the block into the lava flow. Because of the physics engine there is this one droplet of lava that occasionally flies to the right where you need to climb to pull the block out of the lava rain. That killed me like 5 times before I realized what happened. But all in all, this is one of the best and freshest games I have seen in a long time on this site. It needs work, yeah, but I hope you keep on doing this. There are some very cool ideas I'd like to see more of. I hope you implement another special mechanic into the last artifact. Keep it up, I'll give you a 5/5 because this really sets itself apart from all those idle games here.
Thank you for the detailed feedback! Really appreciate it. I'll go ahead and stop those particles from bouncing, and look at making the swinging more responsive. The basic jumping physics is pretty much set at this point, as changing it could require many edits to level design. That said, I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the support!

You know that part where you're supposed to go down, and there's the long area of lava droplets you can't get through? Well I got through them. I don't mean with the artifact. I mean before I ever tried going down. And then I went across the pool of lava. That's when I realized I was going the wrong way. So I had to go back through the lava droplets, still without the artifact. All in all, it was pretty hard.
I'm impressed! Thank you for the report! I'll increase the frequency of the lava drops and make that one a bit wider.

Ohh, the X/C combo works much better, thanks for the update :)! Saved one of the birds, now frustratingly trying the second, loving the challenge :)

It looks like a fun game, but this would be a lot better if the up-key would make the squirrel jump :p
Thanks for playing! I'll add that in. I've received that feedback several times now. It's complicated by the fact that up and down are used to climb the grapple hook, but I'll figure it out!
