This guy must work for a company that manufactures computer mice.. because he's trying to get people to destroy their mice through clicking hundreds of thousands of times.. in one very boring game.

upgrades need a lot of balancing (like how about getting what you pay for, and making the axe actually do way more damage at max upgrades); other than that it's an okay game.

Kinda bugs me that the lumberjack will eventually hit harder than I ever can. Also, fish auto-production can't keep up with my consumption :c Also also, faster selling and/or some kind of injecting-fish-directly-into-my-veins would be nice. But now I'm just griping because I'm lazy. Overall, not a bad clicker game, even if the clicking is a little more extreme than usual

trollol333 get a dictionary. Efficacy works in the context (the ability to produce a desired or intended result). Also, fishes is correct in the only spot I saw them use the term since we are dealing with multiple species of fishes and not a single type of fish.

Found your game on NotDoppler, lost 3 hours, couldn't stop playing until reaching the end, brutally addictive, 5 stars, You deserve them

Your clicker achievement doesn't register all clicks. FYI.
Also I see now how I could have made a more efficient strategy for finishing. Last was nearly three hours, but I think with the right strategy I can cut that in half.

its efficiency, not efficacy. Also. "Fisherman will catch more fishes" uh... it should be "catch more fish" not "catch more fishes".

Seems that Jack the Luber, is kinda hardheaded and regardless of the millions I have spent on training he does not improve at all. If it would be allowed I probably would just rather buy a few automatic crossbows instead (that outperforms him under any circumstances) and fire the guy. But realistically, I would rather use this money to build a nice vila on the scenic hill on the background, with a nice view to the beanstalk and if any giant comes down the beanstalk use the remaining money to pay them of.

Im giving you a 4/5, one of the best thing is its well balanced. Maybe a energy upgrade would be good (+% regeneration), and workers yielding more resources, and probably an idle action for the main character (auto fishing, mining, chopping). Ive played for almost 2 hours with an autoclicker and just now I got the crossbow to start doing some several damage.

I realize space was probably the issue here, but I'm still not quite sure how "Jack the Lumberjack" got shortened down to "Jack the Luber"...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also another issue is I don't think *for the purpose of the achievement* that it registers all clicks made, especially if they are fairly rapid clicks. oh the resources still happen, but I'm PRETTY sure I hit 50k clicks long ago.

consider adding an upgrade that lets a player spend multiple energy per click of mining/fishing/chopping. in other words, spend 5 energy in one click to do the same amount of work as 5 clicks at 1 energy. As an example.

A final level upgrade that adds a sell all button for each ore type would be greatly appreciated, even with Vendor and Merchanting both maxed currently I end up with piles of thousands of ore that takes a little while to get through, especially with all the different types. At the very least more powerful upgrades for those two skills.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i've bought all merchanting-upgrades, and still i have to click a lot of times to sell my ore.. why not make the last upgrade let us sell all at a time? or make some kind of super-upgrade when you maxed the normal one, where you for 20.000k can be able to sell all? i dunno.. but great game (: another thing: the axe upgrade - "increase wood gathering efficacy" - i'm not gathering wood.. -.- it should say like "increase beanstalk chopping efficacy" or something..

the inventory needs a sorting option (up,down) to make selling things easier, so I can concentrate on selling the more expensive stuff first, also the vendor needs to sell more of a mineral the more common it is so the rocks and shiny rocks will constantly disappear and not keep clogging my inventory
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the inventory covers the bean so you cant cut it and eat fish a tthe same time; the "I" shortkey shoud open and also close inventory or move it to a place that wont cover clicable things 2/5

Hey, thanks for the reply. That's a great attitude to have as a developer - responding favorably to constructive criticism. Keep that up, it'll make you go far.
No problem. We made plenty of mistakes in this game so people criticizing them just helps us do better next time. In my opinion, out of all the places this game's been posted, Kongregate has provided the best constructive criticism.
No matter what skill level you are as a developer, you always have something to learn.

The game is fun. I think you should of added more detail with the upgrade. Like a percentage of how much raises stats or your chances of catching/mining better fish/ores. Overall a decent game. Some work on the story though.

It's like a point and click adventure with tourette's syndrome...in the best possible way. 3/5 only because it's one screen and not that deep. Still fun though.

Decent game, but the ending is extremely underwhelming. No storyboard or anything. Some more variety, story, and reward would make this much better. The graphics are good, as is the premise.
