It was an interesting experience, although I can say it was really short. It was nice seeing that most of the time, the choices made skill-wise that determined how far you would get on any of the dungeons, and there wasn't a point on which you got bottleneck'd for quite a while. On the other hand, the farther you get the more stat-checky the game gets (which is kind of the point.) The game could use a wider choice of skills, or a buff to those few that feel really underwhelming (namely +60% DMG for the 1st 3 seconds, +70% DMG; -30% Atk Speed, and Dodge 1st Special Attack). Fireball is also seemingly overtuned; once you have it you pretty much stomp on everything every 4 attacks lol.

Maybe rather than place goblets in inventory, put them in position as son as they are earned. i assumed that like rings, I had to earn extra slots.
That is NOT the case!

The game isn't over when you kill the final boss. The game isn't over when you kill him and don't use a goblet.
The game is over when you one-shot the boss and don't use a goblet.

What is the highest loot rarity you can go to? I have been farming the last section for about an hour and 654 loot rarity ( per the amulet) is the highest that I can get. Can I get a confirmation on this. ( I am trying to get the highest loot in the game).
I believe the highest at this point is 655. Although due to rounding I'm not sure, it might be 654. Can't say for certain without more thoroughly looking into it.

Is it better to let forge bonuses stockpile for a while before redeeming them or should they be redeemed as they are earned?

The Sweep attack ability resets your manual targeting, reverting it back to its automatic 'lowest health' targeting. This is really annoying in the Clay labyrinth where a modded enemy will be un-targeted

That was really, really good. Good length of gameplay too. Was able to struggle, immerse myself and still finish it without my life passing me by.

What's the point of the top/bottom row of boxes we can't put stuff inside? Also, takes WAY too long to grind for items that aren't always better.

This game is deceptively simple in appearance, but has a lot more depth to it than you might expect. Which is not to say that it's like a game of Go or anything. But it was enough to keep me occupied for a couple of hours. It definitely needs something to keep you going... like, say, an option to 'remort' (prestige) after beating the final level, where you get some bonuses, and the enemies get harder, that kind of thing. This is still very good!

it turns out that I miss clicked when I tried to equip the first goblet because I didn't pick it up. So I assumed that this meant that it wasn't equip-able. Long story short I've been grinding the last level of the game for like 30 min so that I can try and "unlock" the top 3 slots of equipment. Game wasn't terribly difficult even without the goblets. I only had to use the pause feature on the last level so that I would attack the shield unit before the poison unit before anyone else as my attack speed at that point was fast enough that just if i didn't pause i might not click one in time.

Simple, elegant. Could use the tiniest of into to the "final battle" (you know... like some text that says "THE FINAL BATTLE" or something when that last monster appears.) Great execution. Well done.

When you kill the final boss but don't win because I guess his scythes perform a ritual to resurrect him or something.

Played the game and immediately thought of Monster Clearer, which makes sense because they're made by the same dev. Both games also have simple game mechanics but still play out well. Short, but has satisfying progression.

I LIKE IT. it feels idle-like, but has oldschool rpg 8 bit asthetic to it, wish it was longer though, still a 5 from me

I would really love to see more content added to this. This could be turned into a really successful idle game with more areas to explore, a new passive skill system and more intricate equipment. I hope you continue work on this
