Is anyone else getting a problem with the game where there's no sound or is that just me? (The sfx and music aren't muted, I checked)

The game is solid and I like the short, fast-paced stages; just jump in for 30 seconds, check new gear and keep going. However parts of the game, namely Scorchlands and Cage of Nemeses, suffer from the "best in a pile of trash items" syndrome. Like, after getting killed on floor 6 of CoN for like 20 times, you get a breastplate that pushes you to floor 7. Another 15 runs later, you get a pair of gloves that let you reach floor 8 and now you just have to wait until you get another item that's finally better. Like, ok, let me just burn this entire inventory full of items in the forge because not a single one was better and get a stat point from the forge, that lets me raise my attack by like 1.5%.

@xX_TrySoHard_Xx I¿ve just beaten it, you have to kill one of the 2 bosses and freeze the other and kill it before the first one revives

I have so many skills that for a while auto-play outperformed me manually picking targets and I have no idea why that happened. The final area Exploding Galaxy was throw-your-hands-in-the-air satysfying to complete. I really liked the combination of different mechanics in the last stages there, and the tier 2 active abilities made the game more tactical during the actual fights. Finding the perfect enemies to use active abilities on to manage damage taken and trigger goblets in the right moment was more engaging than I expected. I wish I could say I had a solid build I could share here, but all I did was prioritize speed>damage>armor>health. Final stats 345k/284k/200k/620. I used fireball a lot throughout the game, but for the last area I removed it to burst debuffers.

cage of nemesis can definitely be beaten, you just have to kill the last 2 dudes fast enough so that they don't respawn.

Extremely addicting game. I played through the whole story plus all the bonus levels in one go.
5/5 need more of this stuff

At the final level i was farming the Cage of Nemesis for points and ultimate equips when page started to show popups of Page crash /no response (using chrome).
By the way found a good speed and dmg to farm:
Damage close to 220.000
Speed < or = 315

the weakness debuff is just there to prompt you that you should change your strategy. as far as i can tell the game is deterministic, the optimal strategies in the game is based entirely around taking advantage of that

i found few uses for fireball pre-red goblet, but fireball absolutely CARRIED in the postgame dungeons "the chasm" and "underwater temple"

@larpsken, @pin, been rocking fireball for a while now. It doesn't need to sync up with a Sweep to hit all enemies, it always hits all enemies for 4 hits worth of damage. Against your main target, that means that you hit it for 350% damage over 4 hits (50% + 50% + 50% + 200%), or about 87.5% what you would do without fireball. Not exactly ideal, but you DO hit all other enemies with a 200% hit every 4 swings. Haven't been able to spot if both sweep and fireball proc at 20 hits, but it's pretty worth it unless you're brick walled on single hard targets where it's more important to take them down quickly than to speed up most waves substantially.

Fireball gets to the point where it is useless but before you have the goblets it kills all of them every fourth strike.

Why would you ever use fireball? It won't hit with sweep until the 20th strike and if you're fighting a swarm for 20 strikes then odds are you're going down particularly hitting for half damage

I like most things about this game, but the saving is horrible. My progress is only saved about 50% of the time. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the save button. I always press that. 3/5 for now, but if this is fixed, i might increase my rating.

The game needs a bit more help on what to do. I finished the regular game, and advanced to using my 6th orb, before I realized (by accident) that I must equip the three goblets. They had just been in my inventory all the time. How was I supposed to know that they should be equipped?

I definitely wish I could see how many stat-points I'd spent on each stat, rather than just, how much that stat's current value is. Nice to consider spending about twice as much on armor as I have other stats, for example, but I can't really tell.

It keeps resetting my game and I keep having to start from scratch. I dont even want to play it anymore even though it was such a lovely game.

like the game but needs to be more stat specific.. like if for example i get a 136 atk and a 2 atk speed comapred to a 179
does atk speed mean in increments or a multiplier
for now to me its a increment so each one is worth 10

Thought this game seemed really familiar, turns out the same people made listworlds, which has a very familiar skill and stat system.
