Thanks for the comments! It was originally just a programming exercise in order to get bitmap-strip animation working properly and reducing the hit on the Flash vector renderer - yes, it does slow down eventually but you have to admit, that for AS2, it doesnt lag as much as your usual visually "busy" game. As for the game balancing, yes, it uses a very simple formula for upping the difficulty and as such there are certain upgrade routes that turn the game into a bit of a grind.. but it's fun trying to find the correct route. I will be taking all of the comments on board and will try to make more of an engaging title next time :D To the people that hate bitmaps: stick with vectors fellas and dont hate! They're just a means to an end.

Not bad, but if you use your first point on gattling guns and the rest on interest, you are pretty much set for the rest of the game if you manage your money and upgrades well. Players will either get bored playing, or play for hours on end until the game (possibly) gets difficult enough to beat you. The difficultly increases per wave, plus the ability to buy 40$ lives makes the game more of a grind than anything else.

To all those that are complaining about the graphics; This is called Bitmap Turret Defence. and a bitmap is a lower quality image. If it were meant to have awesome graphics he would have called it "Awesome Graphics Turret Defence". If you wanna make some better sprites for him, go ahead, untill then, stop complaining, cause you can't make anything near this good. Anyway, I love the random path thing for the Air, and I think it needs a "Speed Up" button like Gemcraft. Great start. 5/5

Too easy and too slow. Lives should cost more, the more you buy. I'm getting tens of thousands in interest and 1 life costs me 40 - I can't die

well i got to lvl 9 ..yup the slowness has gotten to me... I'm starting to pay attention to what is on TV more than what's going on here.
