I agree with the comments about the damage system. It sucks that it takes like 20 rounds of 4 of your guys (general included) doing 1 point of dmg per hit to kill 1 defender while the enemy gets 5-20 dmg hits on your units every time.

It seems like the freezing bug is related to how complicated the movement path is. Perhaps a pathfinding error of some kind?

Good idea, bad game. The "Elve armies" part of the tutorial is impossible, because my units always deal 1 damage point. That's ridiculous. 1/5

"Movement +4 does not work for catapults. That sucks."
You have to Click on the Movement Ability, then click away from the Unit and Re-Select the Catapult, in order to get the Movement Bonus to work.
I though this was broken also at first until I figured out how its worked.

Yeah seriously this game would be awesome if I didn't always do 1 damage and the enemies didn't crit me 20 times to my 1 time. Need to fix damage system and then this game will rock 3/5

Great game! Music sucks, crits as they say are a tad unpredictable, but then so are the endless 1 hp hits. But tweak those and I love it! Very replayable, I'd paid for a polished version of this.

i eventually had 12 units and too much money lol if you lose one no matter how much money you have ull have to get a new unit that sucks lol

this is one great game even if the crits spoil some of the encounters. 610 damage from a catapult stone on an enemy generals head seems a little unfair and takes a bit of fizz out of the battle. Overall a brilliant game. Just needs a little fine tuning.

bugs... mean, evil bugs... tried 30 times to beat "you wont have our gold" without loosing any of my guys... 3 times it was a few turns away (estimated at 8 turns each time) with guaranteed victory and bam, freezes up... can't pass my turn, cant attack anymore, cant do anything except restart.

And everybody complaining about crit, master or superstitial attacks doing no damage, thats because of crit etc. armor some units have. they can block those attacks sometimes.
My elite chivalry on level 12 can kill over 1000 units in on attack with superstital atack and then do -1 on the next attack^^ thats somewhat funny

fugujaballa, you just think its cheaper. if you remove the mouse from the bottun and put it after upgrading on the button again the money amount is raised. It just does not change it in the view but you pay more money for every upgrade. Little bug, like a whole lot in this game. But thats because it is so complex.

Elf general with 5 catapults (get them as early as you can) turn the whole game. The elf has devastating attacking spells, which take out enemy archers or catapults at the beginning. Then the catapults kill everthing in range. Get the +4 movement-trait at first for them.
Upgrading seems to be bugged: If i upgrad (for instance) attack in one row, then only the base cost is deducted. So level your unit to level 5 and the upgraded to the max. This way you save really much money. Especially at your general.

Last mission of the Goblin-branch (Kill Ghelbedin) seems to be bugged: all enemies attack - except their leader, which stays at his place (even when he is the last unit ... and I fire without resistance with archers and catapult at him. Did you give him a wrong AI or is his movement crippled (set to 0)?
Anyway: really great game. Has high potential, nice graphics for a tactic-game. But the combat-system needs to be tweaked ... to many -1 hits and the some criticals by the wrong units ruin the whole battle.
Yes, I attack from the back or the sides. Defender has no entrenchment any more ...

have just passed death valley on champion mode. One of my catapults scored a master -200 units and one a crit -6xx units and it only took my one round to take him out.
it is kind of luck. Take catapults and do it fast. He kilss to many melee units with crits...dont even try that or waste some level 1 units...

I've beaten this on hero mode with both the elves and dwarfs. It'd be nice if we knew what some of the stats did, if we could upgrade all of them, if different races had different armies, and if the critical hits weren't so often and large. Overall one of the best games on the site.

All in all it's a good game, the one major bug that bothers me is when i do a critical attack, and do no damage, also this never happens to the enemies. Fix it pls!

kaos is thinking....*10 hours later* o its finnally my turn, lol nice game, poorish gameplay, the abilities/skills, where kinda the same, and it dosent say how long they last or anything important, dident explain the abbreviation of the skills,random attacks usally, anywhere from 1-100+ damage, i had to get used to the attack range for ranged units, nice units need more but XD its good, the upgrading was ok there should be more things to upgrade and a help thing explaining everything, too many attack missions, only a couple defence ones, its kewl you get to choose which way to go but theres some glitchs :/

I got the other three endings with a dwarf-general, but not the Death Hills one ...

Ok, I really want to like this game but after several hours playing through it I just cannot stand it anymore. The critical / supercritical hits ruin it. You can be playing a map, cleaning out the enemies with no problem whatsoever and any random enemy (including the last, weakest one you have surrounded with strong units and has 1 hit point left) can just one-shot your general or any other unit you might have with a critical hit that does more damage than their maximum hit points. Or it could go the other way - I'm losing badly, when suddenly I'll get a bunch of critical hits that one-shot all the enemy units and I win for nothing. Lame. Turns an awesome tactical game into a critical hit luck-fest. Un-favorited and downrated until this aspect of the game is fixed.

I'm on third pillar of Eukarion, hardest mode. There's a cluster of enemies camping, not doing anything, but it takes forever for the game to take all of their turns :(

Enemies can block your crits and stuff, so they do no damage sometimes.
Catapults are nice until the hardest mode, then enemy archers will take them out easily.

sometimes happens to me when an one of my armies do a critical attack .. and no damage is done :S like a miss or something :S may be is lag freeze ? did this happen to anyone ?

Great game - but the only issue I have with it, is when I get a crit hit or a master hit, no damage is dealt (but this happens very rarely). Don't know if that's a bug or something, but its rather annoying.

great game a bit like chess though :( simple but i would of prefered a physical tutorial than just redaing so i skipped it i would of done it if it would teach you by game
