Hmm Cavalry is a more widely used term but then chivalry wow, thats rarely used
Chivalry is a term relating to the medieval institution of knighthood :)

ok, so my light infantry attacks a troll from the flank and hits for 2. the troll counter attacks for 100. how is this game fun?

So the game comes down to whether or not I'm lucky...nice. 10% strategy, 90% luck. Lovely. I think I'll go play that dice game. More strategy there.

the game does have a save feature lmao! i really like this game. :-) its pretty good but dont like how you have to scroll around the map. i give..... 3.5 - 4/5

I like the concept of this game, but I will stop playing because it's too difficult and too lucky-based. And I can't understand why my critical attacks did not match ?_?
Have you ever beaten your own game?

Among all generals... the best is the elf mage, capable of dishing out massive dmg and high range, avoiding melee dmg, skills that have AoE ***fix the skills pls, after i obtained my fire aoe skill, i cant get anymore skill, even after 5lvls, used to be every2nd lvl u get a skill.... i could use another 2skills..game wouldnt be as hard

This is a great game! The area for improvement would seem to be the criticals/master attacks. They seem strangely arbitrary. Perhaps if you made it clearer how the mechanics of the damage system work...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh, and you should be able to save it after you buy and upgrade units and you should be able to change your mind about going a certain direction on the main map if you don't like the level.

Love the potential that this game has. Think you need to iron out some kinks though. The death treasure is broken, you need somewhere that clearly tells you if someone has 2 turns in a row coming up, make creep damage a little more predictable (i.e. no one hit kills on full strength units), etc. Nice idea though and could be really great with more work.

a super difficult lvl.. mob with 100+hp... a boss that charges 760hp... 4 catapults... few this and that.... i only hav a mage elf,3catapults,1knight,1archer... how the hell do i win this... the boss just 1 hit 30dmg, yea normal ones... 1hit kills my catapult, few mob that does 100+ on crit, wipe my knight out, and my general is tanking 4ppl, other has 1~2mob around them...

you may consider to make mixed turns, based on the speed of single units, such as heroes of might and magic. simultaneously turns, with all the units moving at the same time, makes the game nearly impossibile to play...you will be ever outnumbered if you wanna upgrade!

I really enjoy the game, but please, fix the bug that isn't registering the damage on some of the special attacks. I get that great relief that I miraculously managed a Master Hit at just the right moment, and no damage registers. *sigh*

Cool game, but wasn't obvious how to activiate the abilities. Then, when I did figure out how, I couldn't remember what the abilities did. Needs some way of reminding you the abilities buffs when you are fighting.

Despite all the criticism...i still like the rpg style, adding points to skill.
*take the elf mage-learn the fire aoe skill, and you can kill 3-5ppl at the start of round.

i hate how i hit just 1damage 70% of the time, on one goblin who was in a village and two of my guys a attacking him.

here is how to do it for the melees just dont get in front of the enemy and you will do more then 1 damage or for beginers start with the mage she does great damage ive completed in under 1 hour to easy for me if you say but i give 96/100 and this is in my favorites

Good game but a few things make it kind of annoying. 1) the damage is all over the place and i almost never do more than 1 or 2 damage. 2) Some units seem very hard to kill, even on the second or third levels. 3) I never seem to have enough gold to upgrade more than a few of my units.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
very good, needs a few tweaks, e.g a spell could be reused after a turn countdown, and a chance to carry on mission after the primary objectives have been met toable to complete the secondary objectives...all in all a good game though 5 out of 5

Great game. I did the troll campaign and was a little dissapointed that there were only 10 battles to it. The map is so big I was expecting more of a campaign. I was really looking forward to using all the different units but found that by the end there were only 14 available to me (unless the other 3 were the generals). I really hope that you keep at this series!

Positioning is very important. Attack from side or behind whenever possible. Frontal attacks usually fail or do little damage.

Comment section seems far too harsh. I found I always wanted more gold, but, I always had gold to spend, just had to choose who to upgrade or when to add more units. Perhaps the game just needs an easier intro level? After a couple of bad starts, I found a Ranged offense was perfect. 3-4 Catapults, couple of archers and the Ranged Elven General were capable of clearing all maps in half the alloted time. A couple of Infantry to protect them and a Chivalry for running around capturing Secondary objectives were all I needed to round out my armies.

Fun game. I wish I could see the pieces better, and the scrolling mechanism makes my freaking hand cramp up, but lots of fun to play. I'd love to see a chess-like setting with no missions, though...

With this new version it seems that the damage calculation is always off. Meaning, I've had countless times when I've only done 1 damage to someone. Seems it's generating the numbers on the lower end only instead of the entire range of damage the weapon can do.

Could be a great game but there are a few things that need to be changed. Damage is all over the place I noticed the horde would get critical or master hits while I would only get 1 or 2, it was rare that I got a master hit and I did see a super master hit one time. Turn based game should be just that and not have the side that goes 2nd have a double turn. Granted it is great when you get it but it sucks when you are wiped out because the horde get to go 2 times in a row. 3/5 for the game as a whole. Nice but I want better

Great game really but...:
Sometimes a unit with 5 hp hits for 80 and an elite with 80 is gone. And the other way sometimes 2-3 loaded units have problems with mediocre ones (regarldless of the terrain).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The turn limits are infuriating when I'm doing 1 damage all the time. I really want to like this game. I always end up getting pissed off if I play more than a couple levels.
