The game is 'playable' if you account for the mistakes, odd luck, and AI movement. The AI will not form treaties, they generally form cold wars. One goes to defend an area it likes, and the rest come and send troops due to what it feels are invacion threats. The result of this is that if you keep even an army 1/5 of the size of the massive army on the border, they don;t attack. Sweep around and take all the other territories you can, and then use your 20 to 4 troop production to whittle them away. I beat the game like this.

This is just horrible. the computer has so many more troops then you, and even when you out number then you lose.... Risk is unfair sometimes. this is unfair all the time. 1/5

Ok, i take back my comment. There is absolutely no strategy, and since the computer always gets more soldiers than you do, 2/5.

I've played risk before, but I just don't get what's going on at all. Game needs better in game instructions or something to explain how you are supposed to play

1.theres a bug on last level it deletes your units
2. your enemies end up building massive armies and not attacking
3.to much like risk
but i like risk so 3/5

i agree with fosjam move amrys when you attack, also the dice are stupid if you click really fast you always lose 3 men, whats with that?
fix it!

Akirasan - I didn't realise it was your first game. In that case - well it still needs a lot of work to find the right balance, but it's not bad for a first effort and a lot better than most. Look forward to a seeing a version that is playable, cos once you get the mechanics right this will be a great game.

Thanks for the comments, this is my first game and I really put a lot of effort on it. I'll fix the bugs and improve the gameplay.

While the game does need work, I find that with some fixes it could be quite enjoyable. I like it, but because of the bugs (like the one salty pepperpot pointed out) I can only give it a three

There is a serious bug that when you have more than 10 units in some place when you attack or are attacked your units disappear misteriously.

This needs to be rewritten.
It's less risk & more slow steady boring certainty.
Apart from what the other players have said, the AI is far too conservative - to the point that you can wander around 2 opposing territories locked in escalation and capture everything else

Ok, I would have finished this game but I got tired of having my dudes randomly disappear when I placed them. Seriously, this is a stupid bug. Oh yeah, and the AI needs to attack (even though attacking is a bad thing given the rules that the dice use). You can spend an hour killing two territories with the vanishing army bug and the non-attacking enemies.

wow.... this is apallingly bad. For lols, when you move units between countries, just type any old number into the move box.... it will give whatever you typed in to that country..... i have 9,465,722 units in one country =LOL

Seriously, the creator needs to think through the dice rolls and random starting values, cause at the moment this game sucks

One of the most frustrating games I've ever played. But I think, with some improvements, it could be a challenging and addictive game.

Another big unbalance - being unable to choose how many armies to move after you conquer. All these things were in the original Risk for a reason.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok. Start level 2. Computer Player 2 starts with 45 armies. 29 of them in one country alone. I start with 19 altogether.
Seriously. You need to sort out these random values and balance the game out.

Risk it's not. The bugs make it no fun, and dice rolls are WAY out of whack. 2 star for lack of creativity, major bugs, and losing 100 troops to an army of 1.
