Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Also, please join us in the Kongregate Discord for all the latest Kongregate news!

Description
How many bubbles can you pop?
Bubble Raid is a very challenging abstract shooter/avoider hybrid.
Fly your mouse-controlled ship deep into bubble territory and shoot as many of them as you can. Avoid touching the walls! Hover over colored powerup squares to temporarily upgrade your firepower.
*Tips: Start with the endless "Onslaught" mode to get a feel for the controls. Red bullets FTW. Bubbles can't see through walls, so learn to hide and divert their attention.*
I developed this game more than a year ago, but never uploaded it to Kongregate for whatever reason. Here it is, now streamlined with even more bubbles and twelve fresh achievements. (The achievements are being reported to Kongregate's servers - whether they use that data to make badges or whatever is up to them.)
How to Play
Use the mouse to move your ship. Your ship will turn to point _toward_ the direction you're moving the mouse. Hold down X or the spacebar to stop the ship from turning. Clicking pauses the game.
