I cant seem to speed up ship production, I can see the inventory screen and click on the item, but there's no "use" button

In fact, Hover is broken all over the game too.
For the Zoom, when I press CTRL the magnify icon is set to the position where I clicked last. And I must click + swipe the mouse at the same time to have the zoom work.

Hello ! Nice game btw, but since this morning (in France) The Zoom isn't working anymore and in the Research panel, hover isn't working anymore. Hope this helps...
Zoom works perfectly fine to me, and in the science tree, you can't hover over to sciences you haven't yet discovered (i.e. science level 0, with the exception of sciences with no parent), unless you're meaning something else, in which case, plz PM.

I should probably stop adding new stuff and focus on fixing bugs because they seem to multiply as I add new things. :(

Another Bug, (probably related to the fix for losing Fluids when exiting the fusion panel) none of my Liquids are being used up, they will simply re-appear in my Inventory after closing the Plant

While typing my comment I see ViewView mentioned it too. And he is correct, the high value happens when using the Enter , not with the mouse. Goodluck on the fix.

To clarify: with the Upgrade for Gem Price, any Gem should give me 301 Billion cash. When I use the Gem Sell option before putting them into inventory, each one gives me 10 Trillion Cash.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Selling Gems directly when collecting them from the planet gives you about 100 times the cash they are worth if you were to sell them from Inventory, you really should look into that.

massive fleet fuler 8g fule "should get a massive t5 fleet to a very far place" please.... 800g to the place i want to go..... for 5 t5s =(
Oh, right, forgot to nerf the energy costs. I'll upload a version with it ASAP. I'll also nerf the time required to build the T5 ships @ below comment.

Strange bug: When I am gettingg crystals and use Enter for the Yes-No question, I get about 4 times (8T) cash than if I click Yes with the mouse.
I thought the numbers showed correctly the first time I tested it, and probably changed the formula unintendedly afterwards. I'll relook! (it's just a display bug, does not actually affect your resource production buildings)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Jesus frack, THAT is a bug. If you try to disband a ship group and use the 'enter' key to hit yes, it disbands ALL of your ships. All of them. I had six 100million dollar groups. They're all gone now. I was just trying to get rid of my old tier 1 crap.
Forgot to remove keyboard event listeners after hitting Enter, it's fixed in v1.22, along with a bunch of other stuff that I'll post the release notes now.

bug:if enter is used you get more than with a click on yes and if you tip enter after the yes/no panels you continue to get money/energy

Balance: Researched needs revamping. There are way too much research items that do nothing but unlock research. For example, look at Divergent Laser Research. In order to access it I need to research three unlocks that do absolutely nothing, and even after researching it...it still does nothing. Apparently I need to unlock and research it...then go back at the beginning and researching yet another set of unlocks and the same thing a second time to get any benefit. That's seven research projects that do absolutely nothing except give me the ability to do the eight project that actually gives me a benefit. Way too many projects are nothing but unlocks.

Please add unlockable additions. I'm going to need a freaking galaxy of solar system of plants full of storage just to hold all of my resources from 1 planet full of miners.
I'll have to raise the level cap for ore tanks I suppose. But for now, stick to using the universal collect all button that ignores ore capacity limits.

Buildings mysteriously vanishing from top right corner on some planets, occurs after energy NaN error. Reloading game lost my energy progress and reset it to 100.
Go to planet tile operations, reach 5 million UPXP, and select the operation "Finish construction of every building blah blah" (4th option from top). It should cost only minimal SP.

Energy balls are a little overpowered in my opinion. I'm just going to new solar systems, but the income from just a few energy balls is more energy than I could probably produce all day with buildings.

Bug: Using a speedup on a resource-generating building causes it to be credited for resource production as if it had been generating resources for the duration of the speedup. On its one that might not be bad...but speedups are unusable to produce resource on buildings that aren't being upgraded...so it seems inconsistent. I think it's a bug.

There needs to be some way to locate and go to fleets. As is, if I send a fleet to attack a system then go to bed, when I come back I have no way to know which solar system/planet I attacked unless I happen to remember. That could rapidly become a problem once we start expanding past the first couple galaxies.

@JaredJames i dont think so i just hover over a tile and press 'E' and that brings up the upgrade menu (after which '1', '2', or '3' selects a specific upgrade). The window/frame does have to be active though, so you may have to click inside the frame to make the app aware that your keystroke is meant for it.

One bug i noticed on the solar system map: if you click attack a planet while a fleet is building then once its built you have to close and reopen the dialogue to send the fleet. Then once its sent, it doesnt actually send, it just puts a ship icon in some random place on the screen with no flight path line. Closing the whole solar system miniapp and reopening it, then sending the fleet works normally.

What an ambitious attempt. As many others have said, if you really are a group of teens, this is highly impressive. The game is plagued (yes its in beta) by a number of balance issues, a few bugs, and some UI akwardness, but its scope and flavour surely are the signs of a fine future for this dev crew. Great job and keep it coming!
We are a group of teens but I'm the only one who did all the programming, UI designing, everything involving game creation. The others helped me by fueling my motivation or providing, well, help. I was a very incompetent coder and drawer when this game started development, but I've learned a loooot of things during the process, but it wasn't worth creating an entire new, cleaner game because Helixteus was progressing exceptionally well. But thank you for encouraging me (or maybe, us) with your word "fine future"!

Well i was about to post an angry rant/lecture about the NaN bug and how kneejerk patching without sufficient playtesting is the sign of a young developer. But i must admit this was a farily quick fix. Note that NaN does still appear on the enemy overview, but this part of the game seems to no longer be broken.

Awful, horrible terrible bug: for click upgrades on the water idle game, if you purchase more expensive upgrades before less expensive upgrades...the worse upgrade OVERWRITES the better upgrade. I just spent 3 million on an upgrade, then bought one of the cheaper upgrades...lost the benefit of the 3 million upgrade.
Click upgrades are the only upgrades in idle that doesn't stack, but I should make it so it doesn't decrease if the upgrade provides lower bonuses than what you already have. Thanks for the heads-up! EDIT: Maybe I should make them stack, yeah, that's what I would do, much simpler to code.

To complement on the bug that was reported by Ebik -> Bug: First inventory item is "replaced and used" instead of the item I wanted to use My energy balls have all converted into speed ups, aka the item that I was originally using. I am also able to properly use them as if they were speed ups. (Chrome)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Bug: game wasn't doing this yesterday but I'm seeing a bug right now where I have 15 minute speedups in the rightmost part of my inventory, and when I use them I correctly get the 15 minute boost but instead of using them up the leftmost item in my inventory is used up instead. Just did it three times in a row. So...buy one 168 hour speedup and get 10+ uses out of it by sacrificing energy balls?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey Apple, can you please make the Energy Ball usage a single click please? There is no need to go to inventory and actually select a ball each time.

Bug: First inventory item is deleted instead of the item that I use. (Firefox, Linux, Flash 11.2.202.359)
Feature request: zoom out (in solar system, but also in planet view, may be just switchable between fixed zoom-outs (zoom 0.5 for planet, and zoom 0.2 for solar system))
