How does planet collect-all work? I have max level researched in both the "Collect-all-technology", and "Planet Collect-all Tech", but clicking the gray icon (nucleus?) shows an error message: "You need to research the collect all science.."

The menu's 'need' to be instant. It already feels like it takes forever to collect all the resources from any one planet, let alone several, but the added time from each building's menu having to expand makes it far worse. Great game otherwise, but collecting resources 'really' needs to be sped up.
You can quickly collect resources by double clicking the building, and you can collect every resource on a planet in a single click too by researching a science in the science tree.

wow i have literally been searching for a game like this, very in-depth "idle" game, after some balancing/tweaking could be a 5 star game

You should give an option to be able to turn off the things that run in the background, and just be able to click an "update" button or something. The constant saving causes way too much lag in my opinion
I've considered fleet merging for a while but never actually got into implementing it mainly because it's pretty difficult to code. Maybe I'll think again. The other two operations you cited can already be done, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

I would like to be able to sort the achievements by: 1. Difficulty easy, medium, hard. 2. Completed/Not completed. 3. By feature that achievement is related too. Also would like a slightly more visual clue with the achievements I have finished maybe a star on that achievement button.

Awesome game, you've clearly put in a lot of effort. One thing I'd change though, is put in somewhere how long it takes to build or upgrade something before you start building it.
Going up a h. level with the up key is no problem, but going down with the down key is. How should I implement it? Should it go to the last solar system/galaxy you visited?

Why on menus of ugprades you inverted the info?
like current 0.122 sec/ore next 0.139 sec/ore. Should be 0.122 ore/sec and then 0.139 ore/sec. Institute follows the same pattern.

Love this game 5/5.
Some UI suggestions from me:
a) hot keys for quick access to the solar system (m), the planet list (i), and for
switching planets while on planet surface (arrow keys for next planet and page
up/down for 10 planets at once).
b) make the planet list accessible from the planet surface, not on only from solar
system.
c) planet name should be displayed on planet surface (perhaps in the building
tooltipp, alignment right, considering the available space...)
d) make the starting tutorial available from the in-game help for reread.
e) in idle mode a build 25x option (and more) would be comfortable (without
autoklicker it's a pain to buy water upgrades).
f) extra points for making keyboard shortcuts for all menu options, showing them
in the tooltips and for making them configurable! (Or at least list them all in
the help at one point.)
Great work so far, keep on coding!
I heard that hotkeys are a necessity for strategy games like this; all the more reason to put your suggested hotkeys into the game. All these great suggestions help a lot!

big found... when I tried to fuse crystal, I add crystal, but didn't start the fuse, but the crystal is consumed. I discovered this after returning from the other tab in the plant.

At the moment it seems possible to lose the science tree, by zooming out far and then randomly moving the screen away. When you reopen the science tree nothing is visible. So I would suggest to prevent screen movement if it would away so far that nothing is visible at all.

Impressive system that could be better represented with a cleaner interface. Still, top notch. Almost seems like you wanted to make an MMO.

Very cool and detailed. I'm looking forward to your working out a lot of the small details, as well as hopefully making it easier to manage multiple planets.

There should be random encounters throughout space, would love that because the only way to fight those buggers is capturing new planets or fighting them on newly captured planets.

bug: or just minor annoyance, in solar system view, once a planet is selected, I can't select any other planet without going to water collection first

1. there should be more easy way to collect all resorces, easier than now.
2. there shold be easier way of navigate around plantes, etc...
3. there should be ore enemies, f.e. when u onece get rid of them from your planet, they can come back stronger, and harder to kill...

So to start I have to say this is a very cool game with tons to do/achieve. 1. I have found a bug where if you hover your cursor over a ship and it reaches a planet the time screen for that ship is still displayed with no way to remove it besides refreshing. (it also hides the cursor when this happens). 2. Another bug is in the water idle area you can keep on clicking the statistics button over and over to bring up tons of stat windows. 3. I am really enjoying this game so far though and am looking forward to new updates. Rating 4/5 and favorite.
The #1 issue you posted there existed since the debut of alpha testing and was still there because it wasn't a high-priority bug, and eventually forgot. It's time I should fix this now, thanks for pointing it out!

"Shockwave Flash has crashed" when trying to fight Helixteii. Clicked on "Fight Helixteii" in lower-left, then clicked on my only fleet, then click 'Launch!' and crash. Flash doesn't give an error report, it just dies. :( Flash Player version 11.7.700.203

there seems to be a small but noticeable lag spike every second. its easy to tell because every second all animations on the planet building screen will freeze for a moment every second. seems to affect the entire game too.
The game saves every second, along with leaderboard statistic checks, that's why. Probably should have an option to disable this auto-saving, or let the player modify the intervals.
There are three areas in the game in which the game can get unplayably laggy: viewing achievements screen, viewing a big solar system at a very high zoom level, or viewing a big planet's tiles (let's say more than 500). If the game lags in other areas such as the title screen, let me know! (Low quality helps too)

If the only thing which is unique to planets is the xp and the planet level, then you have a major bug with ore:
At the moment each planet can have different ore amounts, especially since the ore cap is different for each planet.
Also, the +ore from automation simply ignores the ore cap.
The amount of ore you can hold is universal too, building ore tanks at different planets simply increases your universal capacity. Maybe I made stuff too confusing, I'll include this confusion somewhere in the tutorial.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Converting ore also seems to substract from all planets.
If this is on purpose, ore storage should be shared (added?) by all planets instead?
The resources you have shown at the top menu is currently what you have, as a player. The only thing up there unique for every planet is the planet level (and XP)

would really like to be able to either ctrl-click or drag and click to select all of a building and either upgrade them all or collect from them all. A button to select all buildings of the same level would also work.

oh and 4) when i first went to science tree i couldnt see it all even if i zoomed out to max, eventually i found u can grab and move it into posistion, but maybe theres an auto centre or the initial placing needs to be altered on first page view? or maybe a mention in tutorial that its mouse drag + zoom?
Looking forward to more ..but not in a rush still plenty to do as it is :)
5)also no resources increase while in solar sytem map - assuming on purpose , its still keeping count right? i.e if i study map for a while to check my next move
4: Maybe I should add another help pop-up when first visiting the science tree. 5: All buildings produce their resources provided they haven't hit their capacity limit non-stop, even when you're not playing the game! The game relies on your computer's time, but this also means you can cheat by setting the clock forward.

Great in depth game, looking forward to healthy development and some new features...although this game is already huge...
Few things i noticed:
1) upon winning system planet (system 7 planet 0)and visiting planet my auto energy/ore was not increasing , only upon visiting my home world could i get more resources, but when power/mines had finished building then it started to increase again - bug?
2) i could not sell ore either..but this might have been lag due to (3)
3) when the water collection is very high and the numbers are massive it can tend to slow things down
- could we just have a water collection on/off button so it doesnt have to
be crunching those numbers in the background,ty
Issue 1: All systems and planets are generated randomly so citing their IDs probably won't help, and don't quite understand this issue. Can you send me a PM explaining this more clearly?
2: Did you put the slider all the way to the right, tried selling it and doesn't work? If so it's a rounding error I'm still trying to fix, if not, can you elaborate a bit further?
3: Idle never really lagged to me even when reaching numbers in the septillions, but I'll consider it. Thanks for the support!

well ive bin playing this for abit now and i have to say great game abit glitchy and some features dont work yet but other then that its fun.
game is harsh to start and can seem boring abit but once u get 1 click collect and start capturing planets u really get moving money makes it so anything u want to upgrade u just visit shop and buy boost and the energy cores boost other timers so building/flying time is nothing anymore and then get automated harvesting up a few lvls and u can idle a ton of energy/crystals from the planet u r sitting on

I just managed to try to conquer a planet with zero ships. This happened after all ships were destroyed trying to conquer a planet and I tried again.

If you keep clicking on shop items (like ore) you get one message per click, but the old message dont close themselves automatically. So if you bought a lot you may have tons of message you have to close at once.

It would also be nice to:
a) move around in the single planet view by left clicking in space.
b) to access the planet overview from the single planet view
c) to jump to the planets of a solar system via a list or some such, so you dont have to search them manually in the solar system.

It's quite annoying that you can only move around the science tree by clicking and dragging on an icon instead of anything.

One of the most comprehensive games of its genre. Time passes while outside of the game! How often do you see that? Add to that that this game is using less than 10% of my cpus, when other games in this genre can go up to 300%, the developer has really put a lot of work into this game. Keep up the good work. I'd love to see where you take this game.
I thought the build time was what makes the game a game. There are speed-ups in the shop that costs virtually nothing if you're pretty far into the game.

Can't...get past...walls...of text...The tutorial is insane. Tutorials should be highly interactive and briefly show you the basics of the game. No rating.
I understand the game does use a lot of CPU, but if the game still lags in low quality in places where it shouldn't lag (for example, viewing a small planet's tiles) then I might have to optimize stuff a bit.
