I also just got an idea. You should be able to save/load your game to a .Sav file or something. Having a 2 MB file after 3 days of playing is just to cumbersome, especially for a flash file. I hope you take this into consideration.
Never heard of the .sav file extension, and I doubt I can come up with another way of saving other than using SharedObjects (.sol files). I've seen a game (Idle Planet) that took 11 MB of local storage just after initializing the biggest planet when just starting out.

Hello, Apple. I discovered a bug where: If you click an unowned planet, all the other planets become un-clickable, and you must go to idle mode to stop the bug.

Not sarcastic at all friend, this is trully one of the best game I ever played :D
I mean, I'm free, finaly, I dont have to go down a predefinite path, FREEDOM
Ah, okay, lol, was caught a bit off-guard there. It does look like some people are rating the game by its graphics, hence the slightly lower game rating than I would have expected (~3.7)

This game is awesome and with thee new glow effect's look good too. My one suggestion you may not have gotten is 2 things. A. in the setting be able to change controls. B. That glow makes everything just look pretty. I'd suggest adding something allowing you to change the colors because maybe some people would prefer some places to be blue or purple. At the same time, might get confusing, so, a planet, solar system, galaxy and sub thing default option would have to be implemented too.

This is shaping up to be a pretty fun idle game and kudos to the dev for implementing player feedback to make the game better. I would like to suggest that there could be a counter that lets a player know how many inventory slots are left without having to open the inventory. Maybe just place it on the chest icon? Again thanks for the great game!

Many thanks for your great game and your active participation in it's continuing growth.
Some possible things to consider for enhancements:
- Have universal collect work for institutes.
- Add a hotkey (maybe Alt+C) for auto buying full ore (I have way more cash than ore)
- Make fusion and crystallization (and craft when feature is complete) use separate buildings. Add support for double-click to auto-task with the first liquid in inventory and all ore.
- Improve the Info/Blue screens - no Hotkey works for removing these screens
- Eliminate the Info/Blue screen when buying ore and exceeding ore capacity. It's nearly impossible to not exceed my capacity and it requires extra clicks (it is okay if I spend less than the slider indicated)
- Same with the fill planet with building screen - can the costs be added to the yes/no screen (like finish construction)
I really enjoy the game and look forward to its growth.

There we go, 95% code and 5% graphics.
I love it. People can't understand it cuz "Dat aint even 3D m8" but this is a piece of informatical art.

I have noticed that when using ore to upgrade stronger energy balls I am actually seeing a lowering in the amount of energy I can extract from them. My current bonus is 707%, and my extraction amount has dropped to just over 12k.

ideas for new u-exp-unlockable
1: buff all buildings (overclocks)
2: if you have multiple shipyards on one planet make it so that you can produce one fleet with all together (e.g. you have 25 shipyards on one planet and if you use that ability you only need 1/25 of the normal time)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My case:
Found a 22x22 planet.
Save up resource to send 1 level 5 ships, and buffed.
From meager less than 500M capital, I got 3T after conquering it.
After sleeping and coming back from work, I have researched the 40M Universe Collect-All, which sadly does not collect Crystals and Orbs. In any case, the main key is that 3T money, and tons of Speed-Up items. That would propel you from a nobody in the galaxy to a powerhouse.

This is quickly turning into a fantastic game. A few areas I think could potentially be a bit better still... the shooter section is extremely dull and repetitive. Nice idea, just not really working right now. The stun ability seems overpowered with fleets. You get several ships of your own showing up at once, hit the 7x fire rate ability, and watch the enemy be stun-locked. The fact that you can max out every single bit of the tech tree before you're even 10% into the proper game is a little odd. And couple ideas to throw out just to see if they look interesting / feasible... limited structures (one per planet, one per solar system, one per galaxy sort of stuff) that can provide a modifying bonus to other structures - e.g., a one-per-planet structure which can provide a boost to mining rates for all mines on the planet. Asteroid belts / asteroid mining.

Is there an option to select multiple buildings of the same type to upgrade them? Seems pretty tedious at times to click each building.

A potential bug some of my buildings don't seem to produce resources when I am logged off. Over night a building producing .2 ore produced 0. Just a bug I have noticed with a lot fo my buildings.

Honestly, I was enjoying it a lot but, once you buy the storage planets, with the way turning money into shards is, you'll never need mining planets besides 1 and thats for the gems. with the inventory, the storage cost of planets and how you need shards for money, i have 0 idea if it overpowered but, at higher levels it seems like it is but maybe it should be? No idea on this one. Don't forget about the old F.O.O. strategies. (ie, if something is overpowered, makes the game boring but I'm a long time player, i don't know if it is or isn't because i've played long enough that i got everything down....sorta. haha)

Hey, if you have one 8x8 planet with Ore Mining facilitys 1/1/2 you gain very many gems.
If you then convert all your cash in Ore and buy in the Extra-Shop "Higher gem/ore value" you get more and more money out of gems.
Insanely more money. Repeat the process and swim in money.
Pls rebalance.

i accidentally fast forward my computer time and now i need to set it back to the original but whenever i do my save gets so weird help!
Unfortunately I can't do anything because the game relies so heavily on your local clock for tons of stuff. :( If you aren't far into the game (i.e. >100M UPXP) then a restart should get you back to where you were relatively quickly.

This is great...I don't know what to say other then this is VERY good. My only beef would be there is only 1 pinned tab, for people who specialize planets, It would be great if we had 4 of 5 different kind of pinned tabs or something.

I've found a game breaking bug(possibly). My file has become so large, from all my exploring and etc., that the game doesn't seem to be able to handle it. Crippling lag has resulted. Nothing can be done in a reasonable amount of time, and things like the exp gained when setting up farms lingers on the screen for 20+ seconds before fading. This is at a file size of over 2000kb. I tested my fears by closing all the other programs using memory on my computer and the lag didn't improve or worsen at all. I double checked by starting a new save to see how it compared and the new save works amazingly smoothly and responsively compared to the old save. Battles are nearly unfightable at the crawling laggy pace on my old save and it's really disappointing :( The game simply can't keep up with all 8000 buildings and similar huge numbers. I'm not sure what can be done to fix this, as it might just be a hard limit to the game.

Possible fun suggestion: Tri-solar system rarity divider. Past a certain point the goal of the game gets a little murky, but there are still some clear milestones. Find the biggest numbers you can! IE biggest planets, largest solar systems, highest enemy strength mod. And to that end you DEFINITELY need to find tri-solar systems. And it'd be cool if there was a rarity divider to make them more common in late game similar to O class suns. Similar mechanics for bisolar systems would be cool too. I've found and challenged several bi-O-sun systems, but the Tri-solar O eludes me.
Class O sun rarity divider was added because there was only 1 in 30,000 chance of encountering them, while trisolars are if I remember correctly 1 in 150 chance, so back at then I didn't feel like a trisolar system rarity divider was a thing. But then yeah, as you said, finding the bigger planets is the goal to many end-game players like you, so I'll consider it.

Is there any chance of a slider or number-entry thing for fusing gems? E.g., if I want to add precisely 25 gems to my fusion, an easy way to do that which does not involve selecting 25 gems and individually adding them one at a time.
You can already do that externally by backing up every .sol files that appear in the game save directory. To find that, search your computer for "universalSave.sol", and copy paste every .sol file into somewhere else. Once your files are corrupt and/or you're on a different computer, play the game again, make a save, then search the computer again for "universalSave.sol" and replace everything in that directory with those that you've backed up earlier.

Okay so I had some electrical issues at my home and lost power while playing. So i start the computer back up and go to see the damage. Was thinking I'd lose maybe a couple minutes of work. Instead I'm with - save not Found - The save file "DeagleCrits" Has been removed somehow unexpectedly... Just to be sure i double checked my settings but it's not set to delete data ever. I even gave the Game unlimited local Storage too. Since then
I've had a similar situation happen were my laptop died on me and it curropted the save
file I had again. The only thing i can think of is that its losing power while saving. You would think that would be a tiny window to hit twice but by default the game saves ever second. One second seems excessive for default especially if it can lead to a complete lose of your save file.
You're not the only one, the game exclusively relies on save data to make sure it is saved as often as possible. The "every second" timer thing is there to ensure the save data is saved to the actual local disk and not the browser, I think. But then again, you're correct, 1 second is way too frequent for a default, I need to change that. Once, my achievements were gone when my computer crashed, but not the actual save files, so it's pretty odd.

Big bug this update - most newly conquered plants are not showing up on the planet list. I just conquered a new solar system and my planet list now has an empty last page, like it's trying to show them but there's nothing there
I tried to make it so the planet list saves your settings (i.e. planets sorted by EXP in descending order) but one big downside is that newly conquered planets don't show up until a refresh. If I don't implement that though the planet list updates as expected, so it's some (difficult) choice that I have to make here, unless of course I find a way to get around the bug.

Suggestion - It might be an idea to switch to terms like trillion, quadrillion, quintillion and so on in the water generating section of the game to avoid the huge numbers that overflow the interface.

oddly enough, my post went through and the lag went away, but now the building animations are moving in double speed, as if they want to 'catch up' for lack of a better way to say it.

Whatever has been done to the game has made it run worse on firefox, it now lags me constantly.
As for the issue of not seeing other planets on your list, try looking at the second page, the arrows are up near the top right of the box.

Going with Slak's idea of colour coding, why not add coloured radio buttons to signify when all buildings are full (or maybe just ore/energy with the ability to control.) And/or when buildings have finished constructing. And/or one to show which planet you're currently on.
Just throwing in my idea. Good game all in all :)

I think some color coding on the system, galaxies etc is needed. One color for completely colonized, partly, and none at all. That way it is easier to see where i have conqured all planets and not.

The ammo special chances don't reflect their upgraded status due to tech research in the shipyard. Nor does it say in the research screen itself how much the chance is increased. Kinda need to know those numbers.

_Ctrl+mouse for the zoom makes also zoom the window so it's realy useless
_I've updated the page and since that no infos when hover on stuff, and the drag and drop deplacement for the map desn't work good
How does it zoom the window? Don't touch the scroll thing on the mouse, just hold control and _glide_ the mouse. It shouldn't zoom the window that way.

I want to like this game, but there's a bunch of things in it that are very un-fun. The (apparently deliberate) decision to prevent gem / energy ball production on non-active worlds, for instance. If that would allow people to farm things 'too quickly' or whatever, balance around it; make individual gems/balls less valuable, and require more science/mineral investment or whatever. As is, the system where all the planets want you to upgrade everything, but a third of the upgrades will do nothing for planets you aren't watching? Un-fun, especially since it's not apparent that this is the case, and I needed to find out from the comments. Aside from that, managing an increasingly large empire grows tedious (and RSI-inducing); it'd be nice if there were more idle mechanics, to allow you to benefit more from worlds that you aren't personally watching.
The main intention to disallow rare item generating in non-active planets is to prevent lag. Imagine if you had a thousand ore mines and each tick, the game has to check if every one of those tiles have passed a check and thus produced a rare item. One solution I can implement though is to modify the formula in such a way it includes the resources produced while you were away from that specific planet, and incorporate that factor into the rare item producing formula so it "looks" like they have been generating rare items even while you were away. Disregard that if you don't understand though, the only person that can actually understand long explanations by me is me myself. c:
