i noticed that when you finish a building to full upgrades it doesnt count for auto max bonus until you refresh the game, btw when i was talking about imbalance of rewards it was of course the shooter battles, overall great game just would be nicer if the things like collect all and auto max came in sooner way too bored of upgrading buildings all the way manually

Universe collect-all (UCA) still doesnt seem to work correctly... that is if you are not supposed to get less resources by UCA than collecting each planet separately. Noticed it on Science Points (SP) on my 15x15 planet which gives most of my SP. For SPs on that planet i get at least 10 times more SP per time perdiod collecting that planet separately then then im getting that same resource by UCA per same time period.
There is a lot of nested code and loops for executing the UCA feature which makes it pretty error-prone, maybe I'll have to rewrite the code from scratch.

Very cool concept, but needs some tweaking. The collection gets really tiresome really fast... far too much random clicking. Someone posted that gets fixed with research, which is nice, but I suspect alot of people will get annoyed and leave before that happens.
I also agree with another commenter, which the distances and such are realistic-seeming, I think a more compact display would make more sense gameplay wise.

It would be great if the zoom stayed the same so you don't have to redo the zoom every time you enter the planet screen or other screens

Got NaN crystals after building a fusion plant and destroying it again. Oh, and the third upgrade for crystals also costs 'NaN'.
Apparently a bug, Savegame is broken :/
When you see a NaN/undefined when upgrading buildings, that means that path is maxed out, but I'll need to make this more obvious. The level cap for the third path in ore mines is 3. But for the bug you mentioned, I'll check and fix!

There are a lot of things in this game that are set up just a little bit too inconveniently. Collecting resources is no fun, but the upgrade to let you collect all is taking me forever. Zooming in and out is cool, but the solar system is so big that I'm either way too close to see everything or so far away that the planets are just tiny dots. That's realistic, but it doesn't make for good gameplay. Then I go to the particular planet and the zoom is always too close. I shouldn't have to zoom out every time. Anyway, really great game with a lot of potential, just needs some tweaking.

I believe, to prevent the massive amount of clicks needed to upgrade each and every building could be solved by a default upgrade menu (right-side of Info Panel at the bottom, for example) which would have upgrade buttons lit-up when selecting a building on the grid. Right now, and I think especially for Firefox users, having to Hotkey-Click a building, menu fading in, button to push and menu fading out is taking a lot of time. Also, make the planet selection button more obvious as the navigation button, by the way: in the instructions it now points to the instructions button and not the Blue I button. I see many comments about players who find the selecting of planets too complicated. Finally, please move the XP Reward Bubbles a layer down so it does not prevent you from clicking buildings underneath it. And as a Bug, I do not have any Ore Storages built since I do not seem to need them anyway, Ore will be supplied regardless of your storage level.

Lost my save: "It looks like the save "Fincki" has been removed somehow unexpectedly."
Played beta 1.14 and finished it with return to title, next start the save was gone. From now on I will manualy backup my savefile...
You shouldn't see that unless you manually went into the directory with the .sol files and removed/renamed that specific save file only (the universalSave checks if a save file is missing), so I don't know how it got there.

The game has a lot of potential (it already is nice :)), but needs fine tuning (in my opinion):
- Default Zoom too close... maybe add a setting to adjust the standard zoom...
- Resource collection is a pain... to give a "collect all" ability for buying is a very good idea, but i don't like that I just spent 800 hard earned research points to research the ability to research the collect all ability...
That are the points I can think of so far...
PS: I read the water stuff to fast: what is the point of water? I didn't really get it and cannot find information about it...

This game looks fantastic but I do not wish to spoil my play time, so I will wait until its a little more finished, it looks incredible though, keep up the good work man!

This game really needs a [sell all gems button] because gems keep refillin faster than I can pick&sell them :P
Tip: Set buildings option from settings to 0.05 and be drown in gems :)

DirectMax should be optional. IF you max out for example 11 ore mining building you can't build first level ore mine anymore. But building them from level 1 is more profitable. As every time you speed them up you get resources. Maxed building don't give you resources for speeding them uo. Besides I maxed building quit early now I have to spend load of time to build only one maxed out.
That's another requested feature by many, I'll try to make it optional as soon as I find some time. Also I'll probably make it affected by the planet level so you don't have to speed up 2777 hours for a maxed ore mine.

Thank you for your reply. The shortcut is indeed helpful, but you still have too click very much for upgrading. It would be useful if you could add something which lowers the amount of clicks for upgrading greatly. For example, you can choose in the upgrade screen of one building, if you want to just upgrade this one or if you want to upgrade every one on the planet. Example: You have a planet and build 36 Power Plants on it. You open the upgrade screen from one of the Power Plants and you can Upgrade the Energy Storage from Level 1 to Level 2 for every Power Station on the planet at once. So you just have to click once per planet and per upgrade.
Moreover, I am happy that you are satisfied with the rating, but I think it should be somewhere around 4.00, because not only the game is great, but also the developer (you), because you update the game and you responde to almost every comment.
The instructions for zooming can be found in the Instructions section of the site (along with the description and updates). I thought everyone would read that first thing before playing the game.

Unless I'm missing something, why would someone purchase overclock II instead of overclock I? I just started playing so I might be missing something but if you want 25 minutes of double production, 5x overclock I costs $11,000 while 1x overclock II costs $15,000?
It's the reducing the amount of clicking required to buy and use the items that makes it more expensive. Would you rather buy 25 Overclock Is (50 clicks) for 55k cash or 5 Overclocks IIs (10 clicks) for 75k cash? I would probably do the latter unless I'm low on cash. c:

I really love this game and I don't know why it has such a bad rating. Great work!
The only thing I don't like is the upgrading of buildings. When I want to upgrade a building, I have to click on the building, the upgrade button and finally the upgrade I want. 3 clicks to upgrade one building. On a 6x6 planet, I need 36*3=108 clicks to upgrade them all one time. I have 6 planets which produces ore/energy, so I need 108*6=648 clicks to upgrade them all. And this is only one upgrade, if I want to upgrade them all from 1/1/1 to 10/10/10 it takes very very long. I know, there is the DirectMax feature, but I haven't unlocked it yet. I don't know if you can do something about it, but upgrading is really annoying. (Or maybe I have overlooked a feature/technology)
Everything that is used very frequently always has a shortcut! Shift clicking a building opens the upgrade panel. Also a rating of 3.5-3.6/5 is very satisfying, because the moment this game got out of "Under judgement", it stood at 2.68/5. Ask the early players!

one other note. not sure if this was wanted but the power ups in the shooter game carrys from one battle to the next (if it still has time when the last one ends)

i really like this game. i have played every idle game on this site. this one has quality non of the others have. def needs more work but has a LOT of potential. maybe add an option to split or combined fleets?

Very good game i like how it isnt a normal idle game where all you do is click click click upgrade upgrade upgrade but more to it
Originally, the game wasn't meant to be an idle game but rather an RPG. But it just turned out time and most of all idling was involved a lot and scrapped the RPG part.

2 solar systems, 50 institutes, 6 seconds per click, 5 minutes to gather 500 science points. And it costs 4800 SP not to waste those 5 minutes. Excessive.

I've tried playing the game in Firefox, and yes indeed I do experience the incredible lag spikes when game saves automatically — now I understand the lag and all you Firefox users. I can’t do much though, because the lag is part browser fault (no lag spikes at all in Chrome), so if you want to have a smoother gameplay, try Chrome!
There was a bug that someone reported that 80% of every resource produced by buildings were sent to the player even at science level 1, which is totally not intentional.
Your situation looks pretty normal, but I'll tweak the formulas as necessary if further complaints about this come in. Maybe I'll buff it a bit for the time being.

Once I realized there was a way to zoom this game got much better. This game right now is a little too "unfinished " for me but I see it having a ton of potential and expect great updates in the future!

If it's your first game it's a decent attempt. But the tutorial was very long and boring, and overall badly written. If the game needs so much explanation just to play the basics. Then something is wrong with the game. It needs to be way more intuitive.. right now it just takes a long time to get the hang of this game. I've been playing 15 mins and still don't know what most of the things are. Usually i'd quit playing at this point, but i'll give it a try for a little more time.
I admit, the game is pretty difficult to start out (= something wrong with the game) and believe it or not, the tutorial was way worse when the game was first published. But your constructive criticism makes me improve it even more for the future players that play this game. Thanks!

After getting auto-ore/energy technology my buildings seem to stop generating ore and energy.
My ore capacity is not full. I have four planets, with one ore storage, one ship yard, and ten institutes, rest is all pretty even mix of ore and energy with a little more ore buildings.
Right now, seems like approx. I am only getting one ore per second. That's way slower then all my buildings added up. Seems like that was a bad idea cause I can't collect any more ore or energy manually. And if that's the case, then there is not need to invest 3000 science points into Planet Collect-All tech.
Is this intended or something seems wrong to you too?

It'd probably be best if the game works in most browsers :P I don't even have Chrome installed. The lag seems to start about a second after getting into the actual game; the menu seems to be fine. The rest, I can't test very easily. Buttons become unresponsive, including those of my browser; I have to close Flash in the task manager to be able to do anything again. Since I don't see many people having the issue, though, it's likely something on my side. I just don't know what it could be. Updating Flash doesn't seem to have helped.
I've seen more than one Firefox users lagging unplayably, so it's not just you. But since I had no alpha testers using Firefox browser I never knew there would be lag until you (and others) reported it. But yeah, making the game playable for all browsers is essential, I should work on the optimization a lot.

way too much work for a halfway idle game that doesn't even have an ending. nothing makes me want to dump time into this. there is no reason too either since kongregate has a no achievements on idle policy. this game is just a no go
I understand there is no purpose playing the game if you're playing alone and not competing on the leaderboards, but the main fun of the game is that the universe is infinite, and you try to progress as much as possible with no barrier, along with a bunch of bonus stuff to make the game even more fun to play.
Do you mean the rewards in shooter or in planet conquer battles? If shooter, then yes I'll have to rebalance the rewards, but if it's a planet conquer battle, then probably there is a bug. I'll look into both of them anyway!
This is currently a popular request, but sadly if this were to be implemented the game would be way too easy: collect every gem until your inventory is full, sell all in one click, then billions/trillions of cash for free!

On the idle game, It'd be nice if upgrades were sortable by cost instead of the way they are. I didn't even realize how many upgrades there were at first.
They're huge (but most text are either size 17 or 20) because I've always had a very hard time reading small fonts that most games had and I had to zoom the browser to 150/175% for them to be readable.

Can you make somethink like a manual backup? As you know there are still some bugs and a few of the are totally game-breaking.
You can mute the sound effects via right click menu, but if you only want to mute the beeping, then I'll probably add a second section in the settings dedicated to sound.

Bug: so i was fusing my ore, got a red liquid, went to the crystalization tab, selected my liquid, but then i decided to go back to the fusion tab to check something before i actually started the crystalization, when i went back to the crystalization tab my red liquid had disappeared, it is no longer in my inventory or in the crystalization slot

The game is unbearably slow for me for some reason, to the point of being unplayable (Firefox keeps giving error messages that a script is unresponsive or running too slow.)
Maybe try Chrome? If that doesn't work, can you describe where you lag? If you lag everywhere, including the title screen, planet tile view or even the achievements screen, then I'll try to clean up some code.
