i can make the restauraunt in 3 mins in free play, still trying the 2 min mode. awsome game ive burned hours playing it. simple but fun and addictive. 5/5

a fun game. to get high when u jump out of the water make sure their are a lot of fish the follow u out of the water.

you know, you can pratice. but is very hard. the space is in 5123m-5123m! and Jupiter is in 14573 m-14573 m! and is very hard to go in space! me , i can go in sun! is easy, just take the super jump,(is not the arrow key) and jump (press the up arrow)! if you want do a back flip press jump and the right arrow and left arrow! It is extremely difficult to get to the restaurant if all you do is 20 shallow nice entries with no other tricks along the way. The key to building up the speed you need is not just nice entries. It is doing unique tricks (because each time you do a trick it adds fewer points to your multiplier and has less of an effect on your overall speed). I hit the restaurant routinely with only 13-14 nice entries, because I am doing the Carnival, wraparound, at least two reversals, an early frontside rewind and backside rewind, and only at around the 1:20 mark do I worry about building up sideways speed. The guys who did the early "How to" videos have the right idea that you need a lot of side speed to get to the restaurant, but they go about doing it in a very ineffective and inefficient way. It is not all about the nice entries.

You hv to make 20 small perfect entries, you hv to do that before there has gone 1:10 min. Then you just quickly tailslide and jump in the air, (you hv alot of speed on in that moment) then you take the first starslide and next starslide until you get to the Blue moon (gas eye), then you just fall and fall until you hit water perfectly and then with a very sharp tailslide and then jump! Then you hv OMFG much speed on! Then you just starslide and jump starslide and jump.. all the way up to the reasturant has worked for me 10 times :D I love this game still, hehe

one little thing though, in freeswim i reached Venus, (after the nebula) and when i came crashing down to earth i had a perfect entry but i was going too fast and hit the bottom... is there a way to turn right so i won't die? lol

this is the best game ever now that i know how to do a starslide and all the little tricks in the game to get at least to neptune man i hope they make a dolphin olympics 3 where you can be a shark or any other sea creature, and a hyperspace launcher device.

A bit of clarification on the starslide riding tip - don't ride the lower starslides. Try to ride Jupiter and/or Neptune to the end if you have enough time left for another ascent.

The Kongregation.blogspot tutorial is pretty good, but you have to get really lucky to use it and get the restaurant. There is a far better strategy that gives much more speed by the time you make your first tailslide out of the water. Start by going up and out at a 45 degree angle, down into a Carnival, out into a reversal, corkscrew down into the water for another reversal, then three quick and shallow tailslides in a row, then do the low and fast thing, mixing in a frontside rewind and a backside rewind or two when you do some of your higher side jumps.
One of the key things that the blogspot guy does well is to ride starslides until you come out sideways. Starslides combine your upward speed and sideways speed, and when you ride a starslide through to the end, you come out the side with blazing speed. Do it twice, and you're looking at speeds north of 175m/s.

4268.41 m high!!!!! Woo hoo, a new personal best! Longest jump of 10,816.48m, another new personal best, plus a 340 trick combo!!!! My last jump was off the starslide before Pluto. If I would not have missed the starslide after Pluto, I would have gone about 5,000 m high! :-D

Build horizontal speed, you never want to go vertical!!! I got to the restaurant, 166 million is my best. There is a good tutorial I saw somehwere, it helps a lot.

Yea when you do finally get high for those of you that wanna use skill+speed the dolphin starts like glitching out in spin and stuff...but the starslide+combo (GAY WAY) seems to work just fine

Delvar - You don't jump up, you jump forwards. Get a low angle to the water, and appear to skip across the surface of the waves. And you shouldn't tailslide until you've Starslided at least three times.
