To "explode" from a starslide you need fast horizontal speed. When you press "down" to get on it, and then let go of "down" and press "up". Now, once you've done that a few times, you can do the same for tail slides. FIRST YOU HAVE TO STARSLIDE, but afterwards you can tail slide and jump out just the same. More horizontal speed = better.

I don't understand how the f*** its possible to explode from a tailslide and go 2k up in the air. Is there a secret button I don't know about?? :P

The best part of Ecco the Dolphin was always the front part where you could flip around and do little tricks. Nicely done, this is a lot more fun than that game. ;)

Got the first 3 badges easily, the last one is VERY tough, though. It's a very fun game, and I still enjoy playing it, even though I have every badge. 5/5.

That's funny. I got the restaurant at 1972 m (and I barely got to it, peaked right above the Diner). But I know that I did a 1991-m-jump without reaching the restaurant when I wasn't logged in. Maybe the restaurant is not always at the same height? Anyway, excellent game, 5/5.

did anyone get to the restaurant at the end of the universe? i cant get high enough because once i reach a certain hight, when i come down i hit the bottom before i can turn for another jump...

in the last jump,how can i catch all starslides? there must be some tehnique cuz its too fast to change buttons when u hit starslide and want to jump...

Yay, finally got the last badge. Now I am tired of nice entries, tailslides and starslides, and will do something else.

Only thing that doesnt work (and i know its just my computer) is that i cant do a corkscrew while using left and right =(

Finally did it myself...
To add to the tips I found here, what really helped me was the loop near mars... I didn't need 20 Nice Entries. I caught an extension after like 15 entries which got me to the starslide at the moon, then go back up at an angle and try to catch the slide near mars... If you enter it the right way and not to fast at this point, you can go back and forth inside the loop and add to your starslide power... Doing that a couple of times I still had around 50 secs left. Got back down and up to Saturn maybe... A couple of slides and don't jump up of them so you go back down... Then I did the tailslide and up up and away thing... Got me to the New horizon very easily and when you catch the slide there you go up very far...
