Whew! Finally hit that pesky restaurant. My tip - be very very very lucky when it comes to grabbing star slides! It took me ages of trying, kept getting to Jupiter without finding a single one. :o)

What's this tailslide trick everyones on about? after 1 minute 50 of momentum building i did this trick and didn't even get firecracker!?
I did it almost straight away after it registered on the combo but it was so quick i didn't see it even happen.

It's pretty clear the Restaurant is set at 2000 meters. Check the daily listings for highest jump; the only ones who also have a score for Restaurant are the ones with a high jump over 2000 meters.

Ill make it clear caus i just made it to the restaurant. after building side momentum for about a minute, slide on the water and jump off immediatly... if done right you should at least reach mars, and then starslide until 30 seconds are left. let yourself fall down, reach the water with about 10 seconds left, and then hopefully hit a bunch of boosts (I got my speed to be 200+), slide the water and kick-off, and star slide as much as you can. Just from the water jump i made it to pluto. Then starslide and youll make it and pass it by far. I barely made it caus i screwed up, but i did pass it with alot of speed. I now have all the badges for this game . ^^

Heres a tip: To gain extra speed to a tail slide or starslide. Hit the water to stars at an acute angle so the more "horizontal" the better. Then tap up and then you fly off with an incredibly burst of energy.

just build up horizontal speed by consecutive 'nice entries'. keep doing that until you can get up to the moon. Then when youre up there, hold down to catch a starslide, because youve built up horizontal speed, it catapults you upwards. thats all you need apart from a bit of luck.
and what MrRubix said is true, when i did it, i went straight past the restaurant for ages

Even though the distance between Pluto and the restaurant is quite large, it's really not a big deal if you've set up your speed structure correctly -- you'll sail right on past and make it to the restaurant with the huge jump in distance. It's not like it takes a huge amount of effort to pass the marginal distance -- it gets dwarfed.

Every1 who's complaining about how high the restaurant is, people have said 3000m which is probably a very good estimate, and further more just picture THIS... from pluto, just picture the distance of the water all the way up to uranus again (thats how high u need to go)

and i made a mistake on my last post, i was looking at the longest jump, not highest.
i got just under 2600m for highest and just under 7000m for the longest jump

At first this seems like a pretty simple game. However, after playing it for a long time trying to get the impossible badge, I realize that it is not so simple after all. The graphics are nothing special but the game has a very original concept. This game is also pretty fun, which is obviously very important. Even after playing many many hours before I got the impossible badge, I didn't get too sick of it :). 4/5
