If you're having trouble with the axes, if you press the pause button while playing, the axes will continue to swing. Just wait till the axes are out of the way, you can pause it, then be on your merry way.

God I hate those f*cking axes...bad. And of course they're EVERYWHERE. The controls are very slippery. Lots of parts just seem to involve blind luck over strategy. Overall it's a frustrating experience that you just want to end.

There's something about those really long violent rewinds. Maybe it's the fact I lived long enough to see one? Regardless, it eases the rage from dying after making it so far...

This game is near the pinnacle of perfection for flash games, the slick controls make more realistic physics and require more skill, they don't take away from the game, they add to it. The story is almost captivating, and put together masterfully. The gravel road of difficulty curve made me feel like a god on some levels (especially 30) but want to rip my heart out at others (28 I am looking at you) but I loved it all. When I open a game by John I secretly wish that it comes close to the dark perfection of Exit Path.

Just a little tired of slippery controlled, die eleventy billion times till you figure it out games up for BOTD. Still, a better game than I could make.

Easiest medium badge ever. If you're stuck on the 4 axes part of stage 24 (I got stuck there for a bit too) wait until the first 2 are apart, then run through the first 3, wait a bit, and jump over the 4th one.

I suppose this is just further proof about how terrible I am at platformers. I can't even get past the bounce pad on Stage 1.

Despite the slippery controls, the checkpoints were very thoughtfully placed and I really appreciate that. Just the right mix of difficulty and save ease to prevent total frustration.

So i made a "walkthrough" for the badge of this game.
Be warned though this game is like 85% luck based!

2/5. Mainly for the controls. Some levels the slightest tap sends me flying, others I need to slam the damn button to get where I need to go. Also, the hit radius is horrible. How do I die if I'm a 1/4 inch away from the blade? good concept, bad controls

When the challenge comes from floaty as hell controls, you know you created a bad game. Not even the theme is redeemable, it's been seen in countless platformers. I guess being hired works wonders for choosing which games get badged.

Was going to try and beat it, but the controls are a little all over the place. The character slides all over the place and it's a little rage-inducing. Very slippery running.

haha, this brings back some good memories. I used to play this all the time, beat the uniplayer and went to multiplayer for quite a while. Nice to hop on it and get the badge pop up instantly.

No games difficulty should rely on the controls being so poor. This could have been fun, but instead it was just a long grind for a badge.
