You "take over a city" by clicking on the battle option when you approach the gates. I am still trying to figure out how to get the achievement "Dictatorship" when ... there doesn't seem to be one hundred towns...

amend my comment by stating you can in fact continue to take over cities after "winning" but still think the save option and the battle balance needs major work

Lots of bugs, but great game regardless. I found that if you wait to hit Go until the button is done moving after a battle, you can avoid many of the bugs mentioned.

This is a satisfying, richly built game. I'm a sucker for empire-building, and the combination of fighting and trading kept me playing for two solid hours tonight.
But I can't award a fifth star to such a buggy game:
- Condon's info doesn't always show up on hover.
- I'm sick of watching the credits after each five-second ending.
- Clicking windows to hit "attack" etc. gets pesky when the windows constantly move. It's a very rote feeling that gets in the way of decision-making.
- Like so many games, Frontier has a "mute" option and not a "sound effects only" option.
- Dragging arms and armor to sell is fun at first. When you fill all available spaces up with plunder from ten enemies, it's about as fun as fixing typos.
- Once, I was battling a city, hit a button too fast, and got stuck. I could walk forward, but the building was coming with me, and I couldn't exit the battle. I had to refresh.
I loved beating both guilds and earning a mil. But the game shouldn't be "put to rest."

i was ready to give this a 5/5. i really like it. then i realized it only took 30 minutes to be so powerful i can beat all the random nonsense in my path between towns. then i realized i can't heal. now it doesn't even load for me anymore. i'm going with 1/5

"won" as a buccaneer in a few hours. so many bugs! would be nice if when reloading a saved game it knew you were already traveling, especially when you were almost to the destination. as a bad guy, once discovering the "weapon" you should still be allowed to play on and capture all the cities

with 5 party members: -42 damage on enemy on a vessel... -42 on a single target. makes no sense... should be instant-kill on single targets... unbalanced combat

I'm guessing by "Kongregate" version they mean "the you can't heal" version. Probably would be fun otherwise. Is it that hard to put a "see a medic" button while in a town?

1 day to travel to a city you already in? No cargo and enemy still gets half the cargo upon surrendering? I've got about 5 million gold... how can a vessel carry all that money and just 150 containers?

I died 10 days into my initial 1 day foray out of town and it was a relief. Game stalled at 2km to the next town and NaN.1 days to get there. The good news is now I don't have to play anymore.
Remarkably poor play for a game from Armor. I expected much better.

Buy vessel. Buy all weapons/armor. Buy narcotics in Tamugaia (11.2k) and sell at Pastoo (14.45k). Buy silver at Pastoo and bring back to Tamugaia. Easy +500k per 1 day trip. (looks like prices/locations are random?)

If you're having trouble healing, refreshing the page has always worked for me (although it is inconvenient; I hope it gets fixed soon)

how about yuo make a second fronteir? one thats mosern day? and you can buy a vessal and mount wepons on it. u could get tanks and stuff and sell illegan weapons or drugs:

The screen-moving thing keeps messing up the game. Pressing Go before it finishes moving has the potential to cause random problems like not showing a "Fight" button when the next event appears.

Think I found a bug - I've become a Guildmaster for the enforcers, but on the achievements page I am missing the commander level achievement. How could I have skipped that level?

here is a better tip, but only for strong vessels: Buy narcotics in Carlia and sell the in Riley, then buy silver in riley and sell it at carlia

if you kill an enemy and press go too fast then if u see another enemy and he wants to attack u can press go again and u just pass over O.o

How to heal:
the first fight that you get into (you must hit "Battle" not flee) after leaving a city will fully heal you.

here is a tip: get coal from bighorn and sell it at tamaguia. then get spices from tamaguia and sell them at boghorn. loads of money!

well you arent killed instantly if you flee but you dont heal everytime you go into town and sometimes I was healed in one fight then the next I was back at wounded. Game freezes if you hit flee,attack,auto attack if the window is not at rest. good concept poorly executed. Change the music PLEASE!! 3.5 of 5 stars overall

If your part of the buccanneers guild why do they attack you? whats the point of joining the guild if your own guild mates constantly attack you?
