walking down the road a buccaneer man on a horse goes by...walking further you see a man crippled on the ground... i wonder what happened.

You know what? this was a great game until for some arbitrary reason the difficulty got ramped skyward and I was beeing robbed of half my gold and cargo everywhere I went and have spent the entire game trying to figure out how the by-the-jesus hell I am supposed to make money when on every trip I make a negative net gain, I can't afford better stuff, and there is no way of making money that doesn't involve travel. To jmtb02, the major flaw of this game is the game. it goes beyond being a challenge when you are getting boned in every orifice and beaten down with no chance of making enough so that you don't get boned in every orifice! This is a great concept though, I would love to see it fixed....

I never thought pirates were so thoughtful only taking 25% of your gold, usually they take all of your gold and cargoes and kill you for the fun of it. Nice guys :P

Most of the time when I play this and I'm traveling, I would fight a bucanner party and kill them. I have my travel on x20, so I fight another one again and the options in battle are still moving and I hit surrender. < Fail

Why is it when I have illegal goods in my ship, enforcers are everywhere. But when i don't they leave me alone? There must a mole in my group...

First time i played, i helped the people on the road even when i didn't have room for them thinking "Ill get some good points for this", but then found out there's no good points, now i just rob them.

This game is fantastic as it is, but it would be cooler if it was like caravaneer but without the crappy combat and poor graphics. More guilds would be awesome (ex. Mercenaries)
