um.... i just glitched the game.... Get into a fight after getting out of one like, just as the go button reappears, and then put it in autofight, then hit go when they flee...

Good game, would like to see more variety of opponents and a system to chat with opponents / mercenaries etc. Would also like to be ableto create guilds. Looking forward to Frontier 2!

Nice economics, but the game needs more depth. The guilds and quests don't quite add enough to provide proper depth. It's a nice short game, but playing up to 1 million gets a little tedious, and it isn't worth a replay. In contrast, Caravaneer works on similar gameplay and concepts, and its depth and intricacies lend it greater replayability.

Got some bugs, and there's a growing lag issue if you try to make a long journey. The combat system is completely devoid of strategy, and it takes surprisingly little effort to max out your ship and crew. Once you have a vanguard and four buddies with high attack and defense, claymores, and mythril armor, you're pretty much invincible. You can only possibly lose if you go into a big battle with low health or if you get dismally unlucky damage rolls. It's not a TERRIBLE game, per se, and I like that you decided to set aside the biggest frustration in trade games: figuring out what to buy and where to go to make a profit. However, at the same time, having access to the prices in every single town at any given time is kind of unrealistic. It's an OK trade game, but it's no Caravaneer.

Not a bad game. I have a glitch or two. On is mainly my name isn't displayed properly and that when fighting the is a problem with the message screen. Apart from that good game. Although a little to easy. 4/5 stars.

Sorry for the double post, but I should clarify...fight scene animation graphics are way too detailed causing mass lag on lower end systems. I'm playing this on low quality setting and it takes over a minute per round of combat. Fighting one guy on autofight with my average 4 damage would take over a half hour if I were to let it finish. Given that it's not like the graphics are super awesome or anything there should be a way to make this less resource intensive without affecting the appearance. Until then 1/5 for unplayability.

its so easy to get the vanguard. its easier then getting everything other then the horse. in the begining, just trade the most valuable things you can back and forth between two nearby cities. soon, you'll have enough. and then you're set.

ummm, i got the 50th achievement, without getting the 47th. -.-
still a good game though, but it could use some improvements
4/5 till then

Once you figure out that you can travel between two or three cities selling items at the most profit, the game becomes stupidly easy. Fix the two screwed-up achiecements and balance the difficulty, then you'll have something excellent. 3.5/5

trading in the begining is what you have to do. trade untill you can afford the vangaurd, it took me about 1 1/2 hours to do this. after that keep trading till your party is maxed out item wise, then look for the best party members. it took me 3 hours to defeat this game but i took my time and found party members with their stats maxed out and i had everything at the best you could get it; before i even chose a guild.
